This cgs hawk was built inside the hawk factory from scratch in 30 days! Amazing aircraft for great price, available in all kit forms and completed models.
As I recall these "Light Sport" aircraft are limited to 1320 pounds. Way back about 50 years ago, some of the 65 h.p. Trainers I was learning in, were limited to 1220 pounds. They were so light that just the "updrafts" from the freshly plowed soil of a farmer's field at the ends of our grass "runway" would bounce the heck out of us on final! So, no thanks. I want something just a bit heavier. A Cessna 172 at 2,000 to 2,300 pounds is plenty "light" enough for me!
Nice video; if you turn the audio off! It’s not only “not” up to par with the quality of your work, it’s pretty much crap. Sort of like finding out that you’ve calculated your CG wrong after take off, and now you have to ask your wife to get out so you can keep flying. (... and no, you can’t land; you’re over water)
