The truth is that anyone can learn how to memorize fast and easily with simple memory training techniques
The standard way to memorize anything is to just say it over and over again.
This is known as rote memorization and in my opinion it will drive you crazy.
For example, if I give you this list of words:
Mountain, ice, tree, bicycle, German Shepard, shoe, glass of water, tv set, pillow, trampoline.
You could memorize that list by just saying it over and over again. This method is the old and hard way.
Or you could use memory training and memorize it fast and easily by using proven memory training techniques.
One of those memory training techniques is known as the story method where you create a story to memorize the items.
Taking the same list of words you would create a story:
A mountain has ice on the top and trees on the side. Coming down the mountain is a bicycle riden by a German Shepard. He has a glass of water in one hand and a shoe in the other. At the bottom of the mountain he crashes into a tv set and bounces off the tv set landing on a pillow and then landing on a trampoline.
These same words then become a lot easier with this memory training story method and it is how you memorize fast and easily.

The first time I got nine because in your other videos you say that you should create a picture and I did. This technique actually works.

This is glorious, I have been researching "how to memorize massive amounts of information" for a while now, and I think this has helped. You ever tried - Yiyevi Ponevi Approach - (do a google search ) ? Ive heard some interesting things about it and my friend got cool success with it.

I hope I new this method when I was in my first year in the collage. I usually straggle in memorizing things and my major requires a lot of memorization but, "late better then never". it's still can help me in my senior year :)

I got all 10 words in the correct order the first time. Currently developing my mind palace so I used the Method of Loci instead of the story method though.
Could really use some help with stuff like fact based instead of list based number memorizing though. I'm an Air Force pilot so stuff like "what's the minimum speed for xyz" or "what's the maximum oil quantity consumption at cruise thrust". I haven't really been able to transfer my new list memorizing skills to a working memory for my job.
Schwamzy reduce information and study first. And then use methods of memory.

You are repeating the word German Shepherd and you are associating one item to many items .In the story method ,the words you are linking should not be repeated and when we are associating them then it should be one word to another then we should directly switch to another leaving the first word

Hello Ronnie, thanks for your video, it's very helpful. I can remember almost all things in your story, but I still can't make a story method myself. I study in Medical university, and I have a lot of trouble in remembering what I learnt, specially in anatomy. It's so difficult to make a story method in anatomy, so that even this is the best way to remember things, I just can't use it.

By the way, what do you do if you use your palace to memorize Latin words and then you have something completely different that you want to memorize, and you get the two of them mixed up? And if you can only use your house once or twice what place do you use next? I will run out of places quickly because I can only think of a few other houses that I could use. Pls. help….thanks!

Jo, I am not ronnie, but I might be of help. So, you want to get more places to get your stuff on?
Simply create it!
remember that closet where you put all your clothes on? why not make it a gateway to narnia? (Just remember to link it to something outside it, otherwise in some days you are just going to go over there, look inside, and see darkness, as your newly created world drifting away...
Its a really frustrating experience, like... I memorized those 100 numbers of PI, but when I was on 07 (somewhere around the 70th number or something), I forgot the next number (81 if you are wondering) and then lost my train of tought, as I just stood there, on the street, gazing into the nothingness...
Well, thats it, just create more rooms, use your imagination! let it go wild and hit the fan!

the story mwg his works o my if someone is making the story and you repeat it if you are trying to make a story of 100 beers and their prices for a job it gets kind of hard to remember and hard to make a story
