Brandy and Beyonce are literally the QUEENS of incorporating prerecorded vocals and live vocals to make sure that the performance is right as far as sound quality. we already know they can both sing their asses off bc theyve been doing it CONSISTENTLY for 20+ years in the game. weve heard em both slay with no mics. lol but they know how to create the effect needed for a masterful performance and they both give amazing shows.
She wasn’t lipping that is her voice. She took her mic away when the playback/backing vocals come in. There may be reverb on the mic but that is her voice. She is the embodiment of autotune that’s how talented she is. She seems to love reverb like Beyonce it adds a sort of echo effect to live vocals.
I think bits and parts may have been pre recorded if that makes any sense but! Yeah brandys vocals has hit another level of maturity and I love it! How low and comfortable she can go while sustaining vibrato that low isn’t easy at least until you reach a certain age once the vocals deepen or mature however brandy is ah goat 🐐 whew 😅 but yes it was the mic effect I think it was like ah radio type sound you know they have them extra good clear studio sounding mics now that clean up your sound! So it did nothing but amplify brandys vocal freedom she ate!!! Heavy 🔥🔥🔥 and she gave us Early 2000 long leg brandy with the Braids 🤍😍with that stage presence
