Easily one of the best depressive BM releases this year. Solid riffs & melodies throughout, and apart from the weird kickdrum sound on the last track, the production is excellent. Very strong debut, looking forward to future albums.
I’m not really into black metal, of course I’ve heard the likes of Burzum, Mayhem, Immortal, and Gorgoroth; but this is easily my absolute favorite album I’ve ever heard. Period. Even across all genres, except power metal.

Great to see Wehmut back after so many years! I remeber how I tried to get a copy of the debut on vinyl some years ago and then luckily ended up with one of the test pressings.
