The more time passes the more I feel attached to this magnificent effort of the black art. It goes like the movie… really. Big respect for the work of the Canadians brothers, here. Begotten is a class act.
I'm going through a troubled time in my life but I feel less alone listening to this. A lot of DSBM gets old with me fast, but this hits different. I dig this harsher sound with the depressive theme, it captures the misanthropy I and a lot of others are feeling.
I often think such music helps us feel a bit of comfort, while also making us too comfortable with these kinds of emotions. Not saying I have any answers because no one does. Ho la pelle d'oca. È un capolavoro musicale. E lo dice un fissato di thrash metal ahahahahah. Li ho scoperti ora e penso che domani mi allenerà con tutta la loro discografia. Il canada ci sa davvero fare. Se penso ai Voivod per il thrash e cosa hanno dato al metal... E per il black Serment e Begotten direi top anche se fanno due stili di black differenti. I have no words. I have cold on my self cute. It's a wonderful way to express music. And this is said by a big fan of thrash ahahahah. I discover them with this ep and maybe next days i will pass the hours of training with their discography in my ears. Canada is so good... I think Voivod in thrash and what they gave to metal... For the black scene I can say that Serment and Begotten are very top but i know that they do different styles of black metal

Ils ont pourtant leur propre aura, mais je crois que ça se situe au niveau du chant, qui ne m'emporte pas. Peut-être aussi qu'on ne cherche pas tous la même chose, qu'on a pas tous les mêmes attentes (?) Pour reprendre l'image que tu emploies et qui me plait bien (des trucs qui coupent la tête), je poserais ici quelques noms que tu connais peut-être déjà, parce qu'ils m'ont beaucoup marqué par une identité très forte, et quelque chose d'abyssal [Sår, In sins I roam, Intig, I'm in a coffin (et Lichtblick aussi :) ] Si ça t'aide à voir en quoi Begotten me touche moins, ça sera ça de pris.
