Todd in the Shadows sent me here. Maybe it's not their best album, but even during his review I could hear how incredibly catchy this song is. Can't stop listening to it.
Yeah I think this is a solid track and at least sounds like what you'd expect out of CSNY, doesn't have overblown harmonies or anything. The rest of it just sounds half-baked or mishandled at best though just off what I heard in the review.
I tried to explain this song to a couple of younger people the other day. I just couldn't make them understand. I had to see this again to show myself I really did remember this song this way. Glad it's here in 2024. Glad I'm here, too.

A CRIMINALLY underrated song and album. The song is still relevant today in the wake of recent events. Loved Neil as the punk rocker and Stephen shooting the TV a la Elvis.
Neil said he did this album for his friend David Crosby. He told him if he'd get sober that he'd do an album with CSN. Dave got sober and here we are. 🙌
Neil also quickly disowned the record too. He called it, “songs for balding baseheads”! His songs were the best thing on it. Aside from the title track, they weren’t his top shelf songs either.

It’s nice watching David Crosby in this video looking sober and healthy, and looking like he has a new lease on life. It’s a shame he fell out with Neil, because Neil Young told him that if he sobered up, he would get the band together again, and he incentivized him to get sober. He did just that.
