I agree it will take several years to mature. But if no one buys alternative tech , there will be no sales etc. It’s a vicious cycle. So for those people with home solar, those with lot of city travel etc who can afford one should get one. Rather than being pessimistic and waiting for 30 years. That’s how we got this far with EVs. Drive the change. We will get there.
I always have this doubt... if suppose I reach mid night to my house with my EV, and in the morning I need take the car for a urgent and unplanned trip, but there is no power whole night.... 😢😅😮...my area still has overnight power cuts...
you can identify a fast charger near your house. it will take 30 minutes to charge . buy an ev only if you live in a city with fast chargers with in 20 km radius from your house.
Yeah, I can't find myself agreeing with the over enthusiastic people. I'm glad its working for them, but passing incomplete stuff that feels like early adoption item at best as complete solutions because youll save costs just on an 18 lakh rs nexon is simply off-putting. Ive even seen arguments about how there's no price premium because you'll anyways not buy the base model ICE, and I just find the comparisons weird. It can be ready 10 years from now, sure. Hopefully manufacturers have settled down by then too, giving real buttons instead of making me accept a smart refrigerator screen concept for infotainment system, and other shenanigans which current evs possess. But we can disagree about what "the future" is, its the one thing the ev enthusiasts just can't seem to get over. I can't agree with this version of "the future" at least.
Nexon ev starts at 12.5L First you say yourself that “not all ppl buy top model” then yourself compare top model EV contradicting yourself again Youve done this multiple times now in last week
@7567_Rex i didn't compare top model at all, weren't you the one comparing a higher car to the nexon again? Is that not contradictory? You bet on unrealised gains while telling me your choice is superior. I dont deny your choice, but it also doesn't sound superior by any margin. Your price argument makes no sense either to me, the ICE guys don't have to deal with infrastructure issues, or fast chargers, or software issues, or unnecessary focus on tech for not much return. The ev argument so far is that "the future" is better. Of course they have to create some hype, but its gone overboard. Lastly, "multiple times last week", what is that? Some sort of reverse euphemism for twice? Is that aimed to make me look like something I'm not? Well at least call me out right bro 🤷♂️ I don't like this ev thing so far, it's not produced anything impressive besides another attempt by people to shove more tech into something & seeing if it makes things better. You may want it, that doesn't mean I should.

@@7567_Rex idk what you're even arguing about, first of all, tata ICEs are known to be pretty bad by themselves. Idc about tata as brand in of itself, though I have heard from this channel itself, about their evs being better than their ices. Figures. But other brands ices arent really bad, so why even bother bringing the nexon ice to the comparison? Lastly, price is only a part of why I dislike what evs currently represent. Sure they're likely to come down, and I hope they do. But again, it's part of the reason. You mention one good example, and I'll give that to you. But I did not compare top model to base model, you're confusing me with someone else. What evs currently are, doesn't really look superior to most ices by comparison. Especially when you add the charging for hours part. The cost argument is lame too. Comparison with virtus is just flying in the air. Anyone in the market for virtus has already considered its fuel economy, etc. So what does bringing nexon ev for 18 lakhs and cost savings in the long run bring to the discussion? And performance, its just hilarious hearing this one. Nexon apparently offers more performance. Yes I can clap at specsheets too, but they're not the same are they? Good luck getting the performance to last man. Anyway, they might be great to you. They might be "the future", as marketed, to you. That's fine, I'm nobody to tell you what you should or shouldn't believe in. I'm saying I don't see what it is today as of much importance. Tomorrow, maybe they will be of importance. But talks of tomorrow cannot be done today, especially on consumer level.

Anything Karthikeya says
Shumi: “Ofcourse”
My neighbor sold his 125cc bike, bought an E scooter and bought a new bike again to deal with range anxiety.
Bought a Ola, in the service centre for almost 4 months now buying the Duke 250
That’s a product issue not the tech. My 3 year old Ather with 30k on odo is running fine
I always have this doubt... if suppose I reach mid night to my house with my EV, and in the morning I need take the car for a urgent and unplanned trip, but there is no power whole night.... 😢😅😮...my area still has overnight power cuts...
In around 5 years you can top up your battery in mere 5 - 10 minutes at a place very similar to a petrol pump. 6C charging is coming soon
you can identify a fast charger near your house. it will take 30 minutes to charge . buy an ev only if you live in a city with fast chargers with in 20 km radius from your house.
If suppose I come back from long trip at night and next day there is trucker protest so all fuel pumps are empty what will I do?
2:31 it’s pantograph
Ive a ICE car and bike but planning to buy Wings EV Robin tandem seating car in 2025 to deal with traffic and reduce fuel costs.
