I trimmed the tabs off and used double size tape and it looks just as good as the one that's made for it. Again awesome review and an amazing figure.

That’s too much money considering I need over 20 batteries.

Thanks for checking out my video, bro. I appreciate your kind words. You managed to fit everything into one video. I need to work on being more brief...LOL. Have a good evening.
Very clean Transformation video. Him holding MP-36 is too funny. Love all the comparisons to G1 and oversized figures too. I’m guessing Lewin will be repainting into white Magnus. So you’ll have to get that one too. 😀 Too bad about the QC issue with the chest doors. Along with it not fitting width wise into the half Billy. All in all he looks great, I still have to decide if I need him in my collection. Once they start coming in stock again after Chinese New Year, I’ll make my decision then. 👍
Thanks for the compliment on my transformation sequence. I wasn’t sure how I was going to shoot that part but settled on edits showing each of the steps rather than one long video with me struggling with it and trying to figure things out in the larger scale. I think it makes for a cleaner video that way. I thought that Lewin might repaint the figure into Nemesis prime first if they repainted it at all but Ultra Magnus would be very cool too. The QC issue with the chest doors is disappointing but I honestly don’t find it very noticeable when I look at the figure. I agree with you that he looks great. I’ll be most interested to see if you end up adding one to your collection too. Cheers M
Transformers and Video Games The sequenced Transformation was the right way to go. It’s the same thing I did with my Hulkbuster statue assembly. It really came out nice and I feel if you would have bought this figure months ago when it came out that People would use your video as a reference. The good thing is Lewin-01 is coming out in batches so there will be more and more People getting him. As for repaints , Nemesis Prime would be great. I’m still shocked that width of him in robot mode is larger than the width of the half size Billy. I guess you could put him at an angle. Yeah I’m still on the fence. It’d really such a good price for a piece this large with such solid quality overall.
Well, if you’re right about the Lewin-01 figures coming out in batches then perhaps my review will have legs on TH-cam since I don’t think that many people have reviewed it. Mind you, the first guy, who had a review copy sent to him in advance, has over 65 thousand views so he will always come up first in search results so I would imagine that he’ll get the lions share of views. Having said that, I do appreciate you saying that people may have used my review as a reference point if it came out earlier. I’ll send you a DM to share how cursed this video has been to make. I had a disastrous turn of events last night that I needed to overcome. I might be able to put the figure in my Billy at an angle but I don’t know if I can really appreciate it that way. I’ll probably just put him front and centre on the coffee table in my video games room. Only problem is that he’ll be exposed to dust at all times.
Transformers and Video Games Yeah that review copy was way too early. That’s when in truck mode it was sagging in the middle. They fixed a lot since that review. I’m not a fan of early sample reviews because it’s not fair to the company producing the figure either. If I was a producer I would wait till I had a finished product. All the pre order sites say January is the next batch. Chinese New Year ends around late February so I’m guessing retailers will get him back in stock around March. Most of the reviews for this guy don’t have a nice Transformation like you do so I think you have a good chance of getting a lot more hits in the future. If I buy one I’ll be using this video to transform it. 👍 Yeah I’m sure you went though a lot making this video. My most complicated statue I have to compare to is Hulkbuster. I was stuck on installing the upper torso. I actually took a whole week from shooting video of it because I got frustrated.
I was going to mention that my truck doesn’t sag in the middle but it slipped my mind. Seeing the saggy truck almost made me pass on ordering it. I’ve watched all your statue videos but don’t remember you struggling with anything but I suppose that’s what editing is for...LOL. Wow, that’s a huge compliment that you would use my video for the transformation if you needed a reference point. I tried to make it super easy for anyone to follow. Plus the transformation sequence is only 5 or 6 minutes long and not over 30 minutes which can understandably be tough to sit though.
What's up, Brother M?! Man, I really dig that figure. Lots of nice chrome parts. So many other good features about this as well. Thanks for the presentation. Can't wait to see what you bust out with next. Cheers & take care,Bro!
Hey Bigg Stan. What’s good, brother? Yeah, if you have the space for it and like what you see then perhaps it’s something that you should look into once they restock the figure. I’m glad you enjoyed the review. It’s was a lot of work and a lot of editing this time. I’m going to go old school with my next review. I actually have something specific in mind. Hopefully people enjoy it. Cheers bro.
@@TransformersAndVideoGames Right on, Brother M! Yeah man,I'd definitely be interested in owning this. Hopefully I can somehow get it worked into my budget being that I'm still playing catch-up on older stuff, plus trying to keep up with the new stuff. But,it turned out bad ass! & Can't wait to check out your next video. Until then, Cheers & take care Brother!
I know what you mean about other financial priorities. The laptop and tripod are always a great investment to improve things. Having said that and just being real with you bro but you’ve got the perfect personality for TH-cam. I would watch (listen to) you discuss just about anything. I wouldn’t mind better some better lighting for my videos. I recently bought some but should have paid more and got something better. Talk to you soon.
Tried watching this and kept getting interrupted, finally was able to see it without interruptions because this is one I didn’t wanted to miss anything. This is awesome, i like to play around sometimes with my figures but this one...not that I have it, seems like a one time transformation 🤔 not sure I would play a lot with it in fear of damaging it...or of it falling on me 😳 It’s a really great pice M, thanks for sharing this, it must have taken a lot of work 👍🏽✌🏽
I think that you’re right that this is generally a one time transformation for most people. It’s really too large to play with in the conventional sense but very cool to pose and display with other figures in either mode. I just don’t have the room to display mine in track mode so robot mode is pretty much how he’ll remain unless I need to box it up for storage for some reason. The review was a lot of work just because of all the edits that I had to make but I was pretty happy with the final product. Thanks for watching and commenting. Cheers M
For such a huge figure to review you nailed it brother! I hated to see the QC issues you have, I feel for ya bro. I literally laughed out loud when you said he can even rock out like Tattimusprime! Lol great review of an awe inspiring prime my friend. Keep rocking them on!\m/
Hey Tattimus. Thanks for checking out my review and for the really great compliment. This one was a lot of work in the editing room. LOL...I’m glad you enjoyed the rocking out like Tattimusprime reference. He does do the pose quite admirably. The QC issues are upsetting but they honestly aren’t a showstopper. I’m sure the retailer will send me a replacement smokestack and no one would notice the issue with the chest not pegging in if I didn’t point it out. I always keep it real in my videos so that people who might be considering the purchase have all the facts. Some reviewers gush over new figures in their reviews because they got them for free and they don’t want to bite that hand that feeds.
Your honesty and entertainment value are top notch my friend. For some reason I can't feature your channel on mine, I keep being told that youtube can't find your channel. I'm having the same problem with other channels as well. I am going to do a shoutout vid soon tho brother and you're definitely on the list my friend \m/
Thanks Tatti. I really appreciate that. You are far more TH-cam savvy than I am. I didn’t even know you could feature other channels on your own channel. Very cool. It means a lot to me that you attempted to add me to the list. It’s strange that I don’t come up in the search but nothing surprises me when it comes to this platform. I’m just waiting for something else to happen (like last year) that will affect smaller channels like ours.
Very nice review - I'm impressed it's a near-perfect replica of the Masterpiece figure, the gun auto-transformation is especially impressive given the size. It does seem really hard to transform, though I guess it's not something you would do very often. he just needs a coat now when you take him out for a walk!!
Thanks for the compliment on my review. The transformation is definitely complicated if you’re not used to masterpiece style Transformers or smaller versions of Optimus prime using the same mold. Now that I have mine in robot mode I will likely never transform it back again, other than maybe for storage. Having a truck mode this large just isn’t practical for me for display purposes but I can always find a place to stand him up in robot mode. I can imagine what my neighbours would say if they saw me out and about taking a walk with him. Thanks for watching and commenting. Cheers M
The 2 QC issues that my figure seems to have are disappointing. Given the size of the figure, I can’t imagine that I’m doing anything wrong that would prevent those pegs from pegging into the holes to close the chest properly. I’ll have to watch a few other reviews to be sure though. Thanks for watching and commenting.
@@TransformersAndVideoGames this figure looks like a big size human baby 20 lbs is heavy but best thing is to check out other videos and reviews to see what is wrong with it.
Yes, that’s right. One of my smoke stacks is broken so I didn’t want to attach just one of them for my review. I’ve reached out to the on-line retailer asking for a replacement so hopefully that won’t be an issue.
Thanks for the compliment on my review. The figure is very cool and just massive. I’m hoping those size comparisons did this guy justice. I’d definitely be interested in seeing your review when you get it. I don’t have the Unimetal Optimus Prime. Do you have that one?
Transformers and Video Games I do. Bought him a few years back. Also I’m already dreading the dilema of how to display this dude and where I would place him in my mancave. I was watching your unboxing video of this figure and it reminded me of the box size of Ultimetal. This one is way bigger of course.
Yeah. This thing was massive and was very difficult to manage on camera. I have to rethink where I’m going to put mine now that it doesn’t really fit in my half Billy Bookcase the way that I would have liked it to.
That's massive. Great job getting it all in!! They seem to have completely got rid of the wheel covers on his legs...kinda unnecessary anyway. Did you put this guy on the scale yet?? I'm not sure I need an Optimus this large...but after watching your review...I may be second guessing myself. Another fine job buddy!!
Oh yeah...It’s enormous but in a funny way, I’ve kind of gotten used to the larger size of it since I’ve handled the figure so much during the review. I should have mentioned that but yes, they got rid of the wheel covers completely. It wouldn’t have hurt to include them so I wonder what the reason was for that change. If you have the room for it, it’s a very cool addition to any collection for the price. I couldn’t imagine most people having room for it in truck mode but I think a lot more people can make it work somehow in robot mode. Thanks for watching and commenting. Any plans to do any reviews of your own in the near future?
Really neat storage for his gun, and the Matrix looks amazing as well! I could see you displaying the Matrix by itself on your computer desk. Also very cool that they included his forearm communication device. And whow, did you not measure him in robot height, or was I busy eating lunch and missed it? After you measured it in truck mode, I was really looking forward to seeing just how tall he stood.
Thanks for watching, bro. I agree with you about being able to display the Matrix of Leader ship on my desk or even behind glass with some of my other figures. The only reason I didn’t measure him in robot mode was because all the marketing materials said that he stands at 28 inches in height but it definitely would’ve made the review more complete if I done my own measurements. Thanks for commenting. I really appreciate it. Cheers M
lol, The opening picture... poor Megs. What is the height in inches? Probably a good investment piece. I'm tempted. Hasbro is cracking down on KO Transformers. I don't know if they would bother with this third party. Interesting if they did a Megatron.
Apparently it’s 28 inches tall. I really should have measured it on camera like I did in my review of the truck mode. I think this company is too small for them to bother cracking down on. It’s not like HasTak is making their own oversized MP figures. I understand where they are coming from with the identical KO’s of their MP line and even the G1 line, since they are actually reissuing their vintage figures again. That’s money right out of their pocket. I might have to get Megatron if they produce it but I would draw the line after that...LOL. I’d be interested to hear if you end up getting one of these too.
I just don't have space for this thing. I Got the Fans Toys - FT-20 - Terminus Giganticus (Omega Supreme) That's as big as I will go. Very cool figure though. Never heard of Lewin Resources
Terminus Giganticus is a pretty huge figure. I know what you mean about the space issue. Mine doesn’t fit where I planned on putting it so I need to figure out where to display it now. I didn’t have a Plan B....LOL.
Hi M. I just knew that this video has been highly anticipated because unless I've missed it I haven't seen this Optimus on any other channel and I for one was dying to see this behemoth. Hey just thought, you do realise that by living with an Optimus Prime that big, gives him equal voting rights LOL. You don't want him taking over the house my friend. Loved the video mate.
Hi Matt. Thanks for your kind words about my review. I had a number of technical issues so I’m just glad that it’s complete and finally uploaded. Oh yeah, a Prime this large definitely deserves equal voting rights in my house...LOL. I’m glad you enjoyed the review, my friend. It definitely makes the effort worthwhile. Cheers M
Fantastic review M my friend! You sold me thasfosur!. I was actually gonna watch it yesterday but my kiddos up on weekends so thought I'd have more concentration on it today. I love fact they gave him OS KFC MP-10 hands but they are way nice is *FRUCKING SWEET!* *The wonky peg situation:* 1st you peg the round peg in, THEN you peg the square peg in. 😉 You may be trying the opposite way around bc that would seem like the logical way to attach it. But I believe it behaves the same on both sides, correct? Try this method. *Better get your gloves on. lol* 😁 Went to Transformers Bumblebee for a 2nd time, yesterday. With my son & Pop. We actually were going to Aquaman but the last minute he tricked Pop to goin to Bumblebee. But the asshole theater boss wouldnt cash a 100 bill of Pops so I had to pay all 3 of us lol. My sons exact words after the movie was "I really hated him as a Bug. I was so glad to see him go back as the camero" Its funny how much you see the second time watching a movie that you never saw the 1st time. Anyways this figure you have is IMMENSE! You said it's a 20 lb. figure right? I own a 20 lb figure. My is Comicave Studios Age of Extinction Optimus Prime. Its 75% diecast 16" inc tall. I always wondered what my Fort Max weighs it's too far behind boxes atm it has my MP-12 & MP-13 in the same box 9:51 Who the heck is Tatimus Prime? Google dont know And what exact parts are diecast on this? (I have a Hasbro MP-10 mold Optimus Prime sealed in that packaging too bruh.) 😉
Thanks for the compliment on my review, brother. Wow, are you actually thinking of picking one up yourself? Yes, the fully articulated hands are pretty awesome on this figure. I actually tried both ways with the wonky peg and unfortunately neither worked. What you saw in my review was just me explaining the quality control issue and the workaround that I decided to go with. Having said that, I’ll try it again just in case. I really enjoyed the Bumblebee movie and will likely pick it up on Blu-ray when the time comes. I actually wouldn’t mind getting the soundtrack as well seeing as those were some pretty fun songs from the 80s. I have an actually weighed my figure but I believe all the online retailers said it was 20 pounds. Is your Age of Extinction Optimus prime transferrable or is it a statue? Tattimusprime is an old-school TH-cam reviewer who I started following years ago who recently made his return back to TH-cam after not making content for several years. He has a very honest approach to his reviews where he faces the camera, talks about the figures and doesn’t pull any punches if something’s garbage. If you decide to check him out or just pop by his channel to say “hello” let him know that you’re a friend of mine. I’m really glad you enjoyed my review. A lot of work went into this one. Cheers M
As with almost every review of this - and regular MP-10 - I've ever seen, this is mis-transformed in vehicle mode. There's a panel at the elbows, sort of triangular in shape, which folds out from the elbow to fill the gap behind the front wheel. When you don't fold it out, it throws the alignment of everything else out of whack, and puts weird pressure on everything in the cab section.
Thanks for commenting and for pointing that out. I’ll have to take a closer look at it. Having said that, this was literally my first time transforming this figure from truck mode into robot mode so what you saw here as my starting point for transformation was how the figure was packaged and shipped to me. It’s strange that they would package it mis-transformed but I can’t say that I’m too surprised either. Thanks for watching.
Well damn M! Freaking looks great! I enjoyed this video a lot bro! I just know I have no room for him in my current set up ...BUT that still doesn’t make me NOT want him! Hmmm Birthday is in April 🤔just maybe...😆🙌🏻😎✌🏻

BEYOND AMAZING REVIEW TRANSFORMERS AND VIDEO GAMES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Looks as though Optimus Prime has become a Titan, and I honestly never thought some company was going to make a toy of Optimus Prime that rivals Fortress Maximus for the title of largest Autobot. :D This toy is a behemoth, BEHEMOTH PRIME! :D I wonder if Lewin Resources will repaint Optimus Prime into Ultra Magnus? Once again thank you for an outstanding review, keep up the fantastic work you do. :D
Hey bro. Thanks for watching and commenting. It’s tough to say about repaints. I suppose they need to maximize the use of the mould but at the same time of these don’t sell very well due to the size, then I suppose there’s not much point unless they do a very limited production run at a higher price point. Behemoth Prime is right. It’s actually larger than Fortress Maximus from what I’ve seen in pictures. Have a great day. Cheers M
Thanks for watching. I honestly have no idea where you can buy the battery covers now unless you wanted to try reaching out directly to Lewin Resources and see if they can hook you up.
Good question. When I recorded this review, I didn’t have glove to use for hobby stuff like this. Now I have all kinds of gloves if I needed them. Have a nice weekend.
Your quite right. That’s part of the reason why I bought it. Also, it has rubber tires and lots of heavy metal parts. I would imagine that MP-44 will have rubber tires since they normally they do that for Optimus Prime releases but I’m guessing that the metal content will be minimal. Thanks for watching and commenting.

Too bad about the QC issue with the chest doors.
Yeah I’m sure you went though a lot making this video.
Great great video and one reason why I now own this awesome figure/toy.
Hi Steve. Thank you very much for the awesome compliment. I really appreciate it. I’m also glad you’re enjoying this amazing collectible. Cheers M
Along with needing to at least get a tripod & laptop of some kind in order to make better vids. Lol!!! & Yes I can imagine the work that went into editing this episode.
This is awesome, i like to play around sometimes with my figures but this one...not that I have it, seems like a one time transformation 🤔 not sure I would play a lot with it in fear of damaging it...or of it falling on me 😳
It’s a really great pice M, thanks for sharing this, it must have taken a lot of work 👍🏽✌🏽
I think that you’re right that this is generally a one time transformation for most people.
Cheers M
This figures is so aweosme sucks about the head quality control issue. It is also aweosme this figure has a back pack to pack it's gun. 2 thumbs up
The 2 QC issues that my figure seems to have are disappointing.
LOL...it’s actually the size of a toddler. It’s absolutely crazy.
Amazing Review! As bad as I want it, I can't afford it and don't have space! lol
Thanks for he compliment, bro. Yeah, if you don’t have the space for it then that certainly eliminates any temptation of an impulse purchase.
Wow!
Are the two round tabs on edge of the shoulder where the stacks would go?
Yes, that’s right. One of my smoke stacks is broken so I didn’t want to attach just one of them for my review. I’ve reached out to the on-line retailer asking for a replacement so hopefully that won’t be an issue.
Great review and phenomenal figure! Planning on adding him to my OP collection soon. Do you own Ultimetal OP?
Cheers M
@@TransformersAndVideoGames yeah sometimes they exaggerate a tad with the measurements. Still a great review man!
Thanks again, bro.
lol, The opening picture...
I love fact they gave him OS KFC MP-10 hands but they are way nice is *FRUCKING SWEET!*
*The wonky peg situation:* 1st you peg the round peg in, THEN you peg the square peg in. 😉 You may be trying the opposite way around bc that would seem like the logical way to attach it. But I believe it behaves the same on both sides, correct? Try this method. *Better get your gloves on. lol* 😁
Went to Transformers Bumblebee for a 2nd time, yesterday.
I always wondered what my Fort Max weighs it's too far behind boxes atm it has my MP-12 & MP-13 in the same box
9:51 Who the heck is Tatimus Prime? Google dont know
And what exact parts are diecast on this?
Cheers M
Do you have the link to order the autobots logo I don’t find it man
Hey Johnny. Unfortunately not. I never ended up getting one for mine.
He looks totally awesome👍😎 Wow Mind blown☺Cheer friend
Thanks for checking it out, bro. I’m glad you enjoyed it.
Thanks bro. I’m glad you enjoyed it. I think you need one of these in your life...LOL. I would love to see you unbox and transform this beast on camera RNN style. Cheers M
Transformers and Video Games the model would have my balls 😆 wait too late 🤷🏻♂️ so might as well get one! 😎🙌🏻
That would be awesome if you did. I sort of feel like nothing like this is ever going to come out again. Not at this price point at least.
Cheers M
@@TransformersAndVideoGames You are welcome! After some thought, maybe this toy can be repainted into NEMESIS PRIME. ;D
That would be a lot or work and on a figure of this scale the paint job would have to be perfect of the flaws would be really noticeable.
Would anyone know where can i buy a replacement battery cover for this since there not including them anymore?
Thanks for watching. I honestly have no idea where you can buy the battery covers now unless you wanted to try reaching out directly to Lewin Resources and see if they can hook you up.
I doubt Haslabs would do a project like this.
Why dont used glove?
Good question. When I recorded this review, I didn’t have glove to use for hobby stuff like this. Now I have all kinds of gloves if I needed them. Have a nice weekend.
This dude is gigantic and still cheaper than MP 44.
@@TransformersAndVideoGames I would love to see these guys make a Unicron at this scale, I might pick this up just out of respect for what they've done here.
Now that would be absolutely amazing. I’d also like to see a massive MP-36 Megatron as well.
Wow
It’s a huge figure and a great deal for the money. Thanks for watching.
Looks like you are performing an oil change on this guy.
Hi Bobby. Your comment literally made me laugh out loud. I’m not sure if you’ve seen one of these figures in person but this is a massive figure that’s actually quite heavy too. It’s essentially a transforming statue. Thanks for checking out the video.
@@TransformersAndVideoGames Just pre ordered him!
I think you’ll be very happy with your purchase.
How much its weight
Is it high quality optimus prime
This figure is very heavy and very well made. It’s great value considering its quality and size. Thanks for commenting.
Thanks for replying bro
Thanks for your support.
