- Lately I've been busy making wood-fired pizza in our Ooni Karu 16. Naturally, I felt like we needed some fancy pizza peels to go with the fancy pizza.

Well done. Beautiful work.
I realize this video is a year old but in case you haven't discovered Spec Tape yet, that is what you should use as your double sided tape. Stuff works great and is easier to separate your pieces.
Will look for it. Thanks.
These look like they turned out great. What did you use for the finish?
Tried and true varnish oil.
Why are the peels so thick? I made my peel a little less than 3/8" about 8 months ago and use it a least once a week. Make about 3 - 4 pizza at a time in my homemade pizza oven
I may try making some thinner ones, although I find these work well for launching. I have a metal peel I use for retrieval.
What degree tilt on saw for front?
I think it was 15 degrees.
Why don't you use your CNC to cut our the peels and eliminate a number of steps
Good point, but I was actually making the patterns for a friend, who planned to use a template router bit.
So, all i need is $10K+ worth of tools to make a $30 item. Got it.
The CNC machine alone is worth more than $20k ;-) There are obviously ways to make these with simpler tools.
