Among fans of the Final Fantasy series, I think no scene is more etched into our memories than Aerith's death. I cried when I first played the game at that part, even though I had read a spoiler and knew it was coming, that part is still shocking. She had her revenge, though. I've been spending a lot of time thinking about Final Fantasy 7 in the last week - I even rewatched the Advent Children. A moment of nerd crossover, Aerith might have easily said "You can't win, Sephiroth. If you strike me down, I shall become more powerful than you can possibly imagine." Her theme, which we hear as she falls, is one of the most memorable in all of Final Fantasy. Enjoy our take on this amazing music!

Aerith is the exact epitome of a person you're trying to forget but you keep on remembering. But her theme suggests that probably it is best just to move on with it.
Yep, as she tells cloud in the remake. "You can't fall in love with me. Even if you think you have...it's not real."

I would definitely like to! I'm close to finishing the game now, have a few projects that I need to get out before I start new covers, but I've definitely been thinking about a few of the tracks in the back of my mind and how they might work! 😁
