Undersealing my K11 Micra

Finally undersealing the Micra, in this video I go through the process of cleaning the rust from the rear axle and the rear underbody, do some welding in the areas that required it and then undersealing the whole thing. Really pleased with the results for the first time attempting something like this.

Nice to see someone young taking care of their "Classic car"!, I have a 1974 Ford Cortina Mk3, that I bought back in 1976 47 years ago, fully restored on my channel, and some work I did on a 1999 Micra K11, The anti rust treatment on the Cortina included 36 layers of anti rust treatment, with the underside finished in UPOL Raptor in body colour, with a high gloss finish, you might find the work I have done helpful and interesting re dealing with rust issues,
The key is to ensure you fully remove all the rust back to clean steel, and ideally work on dry days, as moisture in the air on damp/rainy days will get on the steel, and can be trapped under any coatings you put on, Pro Paint booths are heated to prevent moisture in the air when they paint a car, as well as to dry the paint faster, I note you used a good quality "Waxoly" but personally a good quality primer like etch and zinc based on the clean steel then body colour and laquer before the waxoyl is a good idea, for long term better protection, Hope you don't mind my sharing these tips, just thought my knowledge of dealing with rust on cars from the age of 14 (45 years) might be helpful, and great to see your enthusiasm for your car, the Nissan Micra K11 is a good little car., .

Maybe use rust converter or remover before painting over, isn't it going to come through again?

Wax oyl is the best stuff all underseal does is crack and let's water in. I've used a diesel and oil mixture before it stinks but it was effective

Я приобрёл себе чудо машину. С небольшими очегами корозии. Я буду зачищать. Потом преобразователь ржавчины. После этого грунтовать в 2 слоя . Потом обмажу уже или гравитексом антикорозийкой. Или краской на основе битума. В щели залью мавиль. И думаю года на 3 точно хватит
