I tried this setup, but don't understand, shouldn't the crave only be responding to steps selected on rc and cc tracks?

hello..I am your 100th subscriber so congrats on your first milestone. I have a tr-8s and want to start adding some gear to my setup. I was looking at the Crave and Moog Mother-32. Was it hard learning how to get both devices sounding good together. I am a total newbie and don't know what gear I should be investing in. Good luck with your channel.

Thank you so much for your contribution! Behringer is good for beginners at an affordable price. You can buy a few synthesizers at the price of one pro-level gear. Moog is more professional gear, but if you invest money into it you will have it for years and it will sound good. Keep experimenting!

@@dasarvy I didn’t mention I have a Moog Sub 37 that I purchased 7 years ago and a bunch of other dope gear I bought but never had a chance to use due to a severe injury which I have recovered from. It’s a miracle I am setting my studio up for first time in 7 plus years and picking guitar up again after quitting 5 years ago. I turned 60 in July so it was like shit or get off the pot and through the Grace of God my desire to create music, gig, record , start a YT channel, live stream from Austin TX etc is in full blown and I am going to make this happen which is why I love supporting someone like you just getting started with your channel and watch you grow as a musician. It’s people like you who inspired me to get started again. and now just trying to figure out what gear to get. I have 8 moogerFooger pedals I never used and bought them new 7 years ago for guitar now finding out they are dope pedals for EDM music. So my setup will be dope once I understand how to setup all the gear and develop a logical workflow as I want to do live gigs one day. I was a pro guitarist and play MIDI guitar which is a blast and trios people out using your guitar as a controller. I am really into a band called Shpongle. Check out their live concert at RedRock 2019 on YT. Blow your mind. That’s where I want to go for live shows but now just trying to learn basics of analog gear integrated with Ableton. I just bought on impulse 4 used Roland boutique synths just so I can start understanding MIDI with multiple synchs, control voltage, triggers etc which at moment very confusing to me. I own a device by moog called CO- 251 control processor. Don’t remember why I even bought that or how it works but also in my collection. I also got a keysteppro midi controller that has 4 sequencers and why I wanted 4 synths that took up small footprint and were inexpensive. I Picked up used TB-03, SH-01a, JX-08 and SE-02. Once I can make music with these I will look into the Waldorfs, Sequential, and all the higher end gear because this old fart has some serious GAS so I need to be careful where I spend my funds. Just trying to figure out if a crave, Ddam or mother-32 would play nicely together. I also saw many videos of people using a MC-707 with Tr-8S. My goal is to creat tracks live I can a solo guitar over. I do have a question for you. My studio is apart at moment and my Focusrite Clarett 8 pre is maxed out and I need another 8 ports. Do I buy a mixer at this point or a second 8 port interface that hooks up to current interface with ADAT. I just need every synth to have a stereo track in Ableton. This is where I get very confused as to proper way to wire up a studio. I am going to hire a pro but any advice is on your end would be much appreciated. I don’t want to make bad purchases even though if you buy used you can sell and recoup most of your money so really not too risky.
Plus the more gear the better especially when collaborating with other musicians who stop over. GAS is a true disease. Good luck with your channel. I will be stoked when I finally understand how to hook up way too much gear. 😎

For this Kind you dont need some super special skills. As you seen at the footage , Mr Das ride very nice rythm and arpeegio only , so no trigered senquences, he should try a whole chord in layers with different directions of arrpegio shift + 4 randomized arpeggio on Crave a lot of fun…

@@Justanothersnippet Thanks for your comment. Practice makes perfect. It takes at least 10000 hours of practice to become a master.
