Really nice work, but I don't see the point of a "take-down" Bowie. Isn't it kind of like those old "credit Card Calculators"? It proves you can do it, but who actually wants one?
No question, it's a beautiful Bowie, BUT... being able to dismount the handle from a FULL LENGTH TANG does not make it a "take-down" knife. Is it half the length for storage? NO. Popping the fore-end off a coach gun, and swinging the barrels off the reciever to put in a carry case to travel with is "take-down". Now, before you get riled up, I HAVE NO NEGATIVES ON THE WORKMANSHIP I'm seeing here, looks like a fine, well-built knife. My bitch is your ill-defined use of language.... do you make handle sets for these knives? Why would I ever dismount the grip? Just my .02 cents...
