Mike Tyson in his prime was an absolute beast, if it wasnt for his original coach getting him off the streets and channeling his aggression he wouldve been a stone cold killer. He was damn near unbeatable. When his coach died though he lost his way. Will always be my favourite heavyweight.

Mike was legendary for them 1 hitter quiters i would go to mike fights in my P.Js cuz it would be about 11pm when he finally came out and it would last two minutes and i would go back up to my room and knock out

He was very precise on where he landed the punches and was lightning quick for a heavyweight fighter. All of his power came from being totally balanced on his feet.....he maximized the punches and almost all of them did damage early in the fights. Once they were staggered he was a total predator and finished them quickly.
Here in Germany there was a Magazine-Series called Box Champions. Featured were greats like Mike Tyson, Larry Holmes, Muhammad Ali, Rocky Marciano. I have Mike's first World Championship Bout in Video Cassette. The Magazines came with Tapes of the best fights.

The Larry Holmes knockout should have been called after the second one and maybe the first knock-down. He was not there but the ref kept continuing the fight for some reason. He could not defend himself and Tyson just had to finish the job for the complete KO.
