My bully is dog aggressive but he’s getting much better however with certain dogs he flips out & sounds like a pterodactyl. When he starts freaking out I turn around & go the other way and he typically stops. However people are so stupid why the hell would you cross the street & attempt walk right next to my 90 lb dog (that’s freaking out) with your little 8 lb dog?! I had to actually yell at this girl yesterday she actually said “ oh I thought your dog was friendly” idiot.

Thank you so much for helping people understand their dogs better instead of just saving that the dog is broken and give up , like some trainers do. Your videos have even helped me get some more ideas for the dogs I train. Which can be difficult when you feel you’ve run out of ideas. I love your method for leash training. I’ve used it on all of the dogs I train in addition to my own methods.

Well done Tom. I have lived with German Shepherds from 1978 til 2015. You have nailed the process of using the correction chain/prong collar perfectly. With my late Rex, I experienced a problem with Rex been overly excited and anxious. I watched a DVD of a family friend who was a German Shepherd dog trainer and I watched a couple of your videos on how you helped your clients who had anxious GS dogs and you got them to become a lot calmer with lead work. I admire your work and I wish you resided in Australia.

I just started working with my rescue GSD on a prong collar after watching you teach about this tool. The difference is night and day. I finally felt comfortable easing her into a quiet part of the park. I really want to find a neighbor with a non-reactive dog willing to work with us at the park. I know with more training and the use of this tool, she will learn and get out of that state of mind around other dogs. She has dog friends and is a gentle giant with them, so it confuses me why she acts that way with other dogs. I would love to go out to more places with her. With your help in these videos, I know its attainable. 🐾💙🐾

My almost 2yo female has developed high excitement, anxiety and agression thru the electrical fence around our open corner lot, where there is a constant parade of dogs walkers and cars. She does not listen when we call her ending in her getting zapped really bad and therefore linking the other dogs to that pain. I am slowly using your videos to start from scratch on commands, on structure and eventually I will try this with a friend's dog. I need to get her a prang collar. Thank you for being so detailed in your observation of the dog and your thinking process to act.

Showing real situations with reactives dogs is very helpful to watch. I can now tell which dogs will elicit a response from my dog, those that are excited and are not under control by their owners. I usually just put my dog in a sit, occasionally ill walk past with my dog in a heal, leave it command and sometimes I use my ecollar if my dog gets too focused. How come the guy kept his German Shepard on the right side when walking instead of the left?
