wild fire is actually one of his worst moves. Later on if you give him subclass war just to break the 9999 modifier his super attack can do 99999 DAMAGE if u get his speed all the way up
I use than on my runeblade tressa those folow up elemental alway do 9999 damage so i just give her that skill and almost alway the folow up elemental damage is 17-19 thousand

There's a Hunter ability that allows you to damage down to 1hp or one hit or whatever (if the attack would kill otherwise). Should use that instead of spamming to get highest capture percentage. I don't have the full game yet so idk if some monsters have insane catch rate like tokos from ni no kuni 1 (0.6%)
I'm the 100th like :) btw this is my favorite character because you can capture all the monsters and use them fight against others made me feel like Pokemon vibe in this game.

Boyo Beatdown I use h'aanit hunter skills the multiple arrows or just use a soulstone twice or (M) soulstone for 1 hit kill. Therion and h'aanit have good speed so the turn always goes frist for them, good luck
This isn’t even touching the surface of how broken she can get; if you capture that wolf looking boss near end game with max strength, it has a multi hitting attack that just shreds everything to pieces
The best combo in this game in olberic Ophelia Hannit and Cyrus. I chose to have Ophelia with warrior and Cyrus with thief so he can share his sp and use dagger

I'm having some trouble with a lot of the rarer beasts. Direwolf, etc. Even I get them low and break them, I have an 11% chance to capture them. Is that accurate or am I missing something here?

Captured enemies are not permanent. They have a set amount of uses and can be recaptured if you can find them again. Main bosses cannot be captured, but optional bosses can.
Is there a limit to how many beasts you can use? Like i see you can use one 7 times, but after that, does the beast run away or do you have to rest at an inn to refill it?
Some tips on actually getting the capture rate close to 100 for a Cait would certainly be helpful.... Just showing us you doing it after the fact doesn't really help anyone. Just sayin'.
No sp. They have a random number attached to them that determines how often they can be summoned. Stronger enemies like Monarch or Heavenwing usually have a smaller summon count of around 1-4. Others can be summoned more often, and once you have reached the summon limit, they go away.

Portgas.D. hiro 1%. You will have to weaken it. It goes up to 4% if you can stun it at low hp (around 500). It might be a higher percentage the higher level H'annit is. But I fought it around lvl 17-19.
OhRichard i wish there was a skill that shows the hp of the monsters, like libra, cause i only got it until 1% to capture him and when i tried to do an attack he died lol good for you for having tried so many times, really worth it. I suppose it took nearly a whole day?
So you're telling me that I can get ALL of Cyrus's skills and level him up to make him have over 1000 health in under 3 hours? Yeah, uh no, that sounds pretty impossible considering how much job points you need.
Honestly, am not a fan of the All attacks. I prefer the SUPER strong single target attackss, specially the ones that hit multiple times, as those are much more useful for NPC duels, which is the main reason to even use monsters in the game imo
Tressa is best girl in this video. She is the hidden MVP trading her BP when needed. She doesn't need the glory because she knows what she did. Tressa seems to be the better support character. Ophillia is nice and all, but she is just some generic white mage healer. Her story also, in my opinion, is the most boring story ever. Her chapter with all the cutscenes takes upwards of 40 minutes, which is the longest story. AND LITERALLY ALL OF IT IS CUTSCENES. I want to play a game Ophillia, not watch a fucking movie.
Just curios, will you be using H'aanit as your main since seeing from this video she can really deal damage by capturing these mini bosses (idk what to call them) -- eventhough capturing it might take a while LOL-- personally after having looked at the under 50min speedrun getting all the 8 char i think cyrus will be my choice since he resembles a detective with deduction skills (like the sherlock tv series and movie by robert downey jr which is also great) and he's got quite an arsenal of magic that hits every foe not to forget that evasion passive skill is quite helpfull. Another thing is that voice actor for him just seemed right. But for story, i would go for primrose whiced really for me is quite interesting. Anyways would really appreciate the feedback and thoughts, maybe it can even change mine when i start the fullgame later LOL
Aditya Pratama I have 3 accounts on my switch. My main one has H'annit and my second one has Cyrus. I personally liked H'annits story the most. I would recommend you to play through all 8 of them if you haven't already, and then decide your favorite 2. After that you can put them in a team and then find out what you team needs. Not gonna lie, I have over 100 hours into the demo, exploring every character, almost every combination of heroes,every part of the map that I know exactly what it looks like even without playing the game.
OhRichard Nice, that is quite a huge investment on a demo and worth it if I might add, considering the devs really put a lot of stuffs to explore even in the early parts of the game even if its not quite obvious at first (like i didnt know at first that you can get all 8 in one playghrough of 3 hours) and other stuffs like cait or bewildering grace 100xp chance (I'm currently trying to max lvl the party with this method if possible). Not to mention you can resume the game from the save file of the demo which is another great thing to add. I just hope there are a lot more extra stuff we can expect maybe like a secret hard boss with 99 weakness shield points and only one weakness which we have to guess and cant use an ability on it. As for the characters so far there's not one i dislike, the only story i havent explored is olberon and tressa. Hoping that eventually there is an epic conclusion that connects all the characters story alltogether. Thanks for sharing the findings on your videos it is really usefull, hoping to see more when the main game comes out.
Aditya Pratama H'annits level doesn't really matter. If you go to the Miscellaneous tab and select tutorial, there is a topic labeled "Tips for travele: Part II" that tells you how to increase capture rate.

As far as I know, they appear as rare encounters in the dungeons after you beat them.

it just has to do with luck buddy lol it takes time but youll eventually get the chance to capture me
Some bosses do seem to have low peak capture percentages, even near defeat.

Captured enemies are not permanent. They have a set amount of uses and can be recaptured if you can find them again. Main bosses cannot be captured, but optional bosses can.

Luis Trujillo you can use a beast a limited amount of times and then it returns to the wild. Usually around 4 to 7 times for average monsters

Capturing an enemy still counts as killng it meaning you still get all the xp, jp etc.

Those are dungeon bosses. So far I think you can capture most creature/beast like enemy who aren't storyline bosses.

to each their own, i only use hunter class for leghold trap, best ability in the game for bossfight, otherwise not my class
