I got a Dillon 550c in Feb. I also got the DA mini case feeder. My case feeder has been installed and works well. But the thing I'd like to say is that you video is more informative than the one put out by DA. I complained to customer service that most of the work was done with Sol talking to the camera, there would be a short closeup but personally it was not a great video. Since I made a mistake or two it was frustrating. Yours is great. Good work.
I'm frustrated with my case feeder. I'm sure that this is user but the brass doesn't always come out when I pull the handle. I'm using the handle made by In-line fabrication. I spend more time looking to ensure that a case falls into the funnel. Hopefully your video will help out. If not, I'm just going to take this as a loss.
@@Comerelaxandlearn Right now, I'm loading 9 mm. But i I don't get this figured out, I'm going to just pull the case feeder off and go back to using my hands for the brass. I don't want to deal with this headache for 5.56 and .357. Thanks again for everything.
Technically if you place say 6 30-06 cases in the top and shake vigorously eventually they’ll find their place down the holes. But you can also place manually down the tubes.
totally recommend it. It makes loading so much easier especially in a 550 where you have to index manually. It's one thing less to worry about. It fits up to 223 cal, If I recall correctly.
I love my 550B but I loved my old Lee Pro1000..the case feeder,/collator was pure simple genius with no moving parts...
Wow. That’s something you don’t hear all the time. Thanks for commenting. Please subscribe.

I hope the video helps
I hope you don't mind 1 final question. Does your brass cycle every time into the funnel. Or does it skip from time to time.
@@Kryinggame skips from time to time. It’s not a perfect system. What caliber are you loading?

How difficult is it to load cartridges larger than can be fed though the case feeder? Something like 30-06?

I’m debating to get one….thoughts?
