Now that was some nice looking fish. I can’t wait too hit the lake I live up near lake tomahawk. It’s hard to find the time too fish were I’m a over the road truck driver. That’s why I watch you guys too see those beautiful fish. Thank you for sharing
Great information "IF" you have a boat, motor & trailer... AND... an expensive Fish Finder... AND... if you are fortunate enough to live a decent driving distance to a huge lake that holds big Bluegill... or... if you have access to a Private Lake.
Wally hilgenberg was my neighbor on my cabin lake a few miles south of the canadian border. Solid guy. Was a shame watching als take him. It was fairly quick.
These guys are definitely fishing at a very private lake. In the whole video, on that huge lake, you do not see another boat on the lake. No wonder they are catching big Bluegill. They are fishing where only a select few fishermen get to fish.
Not at all. They just fish tuesday-thursday to avoid the crowds. I've likely been on many of the same lakes these guys film on. There's plenty of them in the brainerd area that kick out 10" bluegills and 14" crappies. Just gotta get out and sniff em out.
Man.. its crazy how much media has changed in the last 5 years. I have almost never seen a youtube video that’s trying to sell this much crap. Like i can find an independent youtuber that makes this exact video. Just as good quality. And they might have one ad read. 33 comments 87k views. Crazy to think this type of media is just over now.
I agree with most things here and in most Lindner productions, but it is extremely misleading to advertise those expensive st. croix rods with 10lb line. Anything over 2lb line for panfish and a $20 walmart rod is excessive.
While I do enjoy watching or listening to these shows. I watched one yesterday where a "low coat" $100 reel was paired to a $459 St Croix rod. I get that you need to advertise but you'd think that fishing is for only the rich and privileged. For one time, I'd love to see these guys go and get a garage sale rod and reel or a $35 combo and hit it with a plain 12' boat with a 7.5 hp motor and no electronics towed by a 94 Suburban.
@@proverbialmind_spread9421 Sure, maybe when it comes to other fishing, but I could panfish a whole season on a $20 budget. And I didn't exhibit jealousy, I stated that the implications made in the video are not very practical.
@@zacharybogert1657 First...it was a bit of a joke. But these guys started out with nothing and have been doing this for 40 years. Yeah, they have sponsors. You don't think a $200 rig would last 10 seasons (your reasoning...a $20 a year budget for pan fishing). Buy what you can afford...but don't pull a complaint because you can't or don't want to spend money on quality gear!
Most folks that go to the lengths to hunt down, find and catch Deepwater bluegills are already the types that'll turn back most anything over 9" because they know when you keep the big males the fishery is trashed.
Thanks for uploading this, can't wait to get back at the bluegill

Thanks guys. I’m gonna try those drop shots. God bless you and your family’s
Al has passed the torch now it's just about making money with all the adds
Somebody has to raise money so you can enjoy free content. Boats, cameras, camera men, trucks to haul boats, fuel, staff, etc aren't free for them....
Great gills!!!!!

I love catching deep clear water weed line summertime bluegill on a Kastmaster spoon with a 2 inch mono leader with an ice fly at the bottom of it
I like the show some may complain but at least it is good content. I appreciate the work.

I catch some awesome gills fishing out of my kayak. Little lakes that you find by checking out maps and giving it a try.

95 % advertising BS. Al and kin have gone down the wrong road when it comes to generics that catch fish. Sad.
Unwatchable. Just one long commercial. Never again.

I wish people would stop teaching masses to find these!! It killing the big fish!

To many commercials
Agreed. Tap the right side of your screen to fast forward 10 seconds at a time. Helps tremendously
Too much trying to sell expensive crap, too little information about bluegill.
Good! Go work and learn! And when you find them don't eat them all!!
