We will have to devise innovative plans to ensure that minorities, particularly the Muslim minority are empowered to share equitably in the fruits of development. They must have the first claim on our resources.
In this speech it was never said that any one community has the first right on any government resource. Dr. Manmohan Singh is talking about SC, ST, OBC, women, children and minorities, especially Muslims. He said collectively that these backward people have the first claim on our country’s resource. And NOTE that Manmohan Singh said “first claim” on resources not “first right”. First claim on resources not first right. These are subtle things that are misrepresented by BJP for political gains.
You conveniently removes word especially Muslims which is said for minorities. Muslims are not minorities so need to stop this Revadi.
