  • Direct comparsion of the Harbor Freight (Franklin) vs. Gorilla Ladders work platforms. In this video, I compare these platforms based on size, capacity, ease of use, stability, and price. Then I'll share my thoughts on which one I think was worth my hard earned money.

Here are my thoughts on these two work platforms. I own and use both. Both have worked well for my needs, but there's a clear winner in my mind. I hope this video helps someone out there. Let me know your thoughts on these work platforms.

Thanks man. Ended up getting a gorilla today. The Franklin is nice but the gorilla is just like getting the right tool the first time

I'm big on the sturdiness, hanging 12 ft sheetrock is already a game balancing the sheet the last thing I want is fighting with the bench I'm on. Gorilla for work and the Franklin for home

Congrats on NOT USING LOUD STUPID MUSIC. That alone gives your video a huge boost in quality. Also great info and clarity in your video. Cheers

Thank you. I agree, the music can get annoying in videos.

    Well done video - Thanks!
I see the heights are equal on the platforms, but what is it?? I checked HF and HEIGHT is the only dimension they do not state.

The legs of the gorilla will get wobbly after a couple of months and soon you’ll be dancing salsa on a platform

Had mine for a few years and legs are still tight, but I only use it occasionally. I can see them get loose with regular use.
