@@RippedLipsBassFishing I guess, had no idea they would lol. I caught an 18 pound channel cat on a ned rig a couple weeks ago. And a 5 pound 12 ounce bass in the same day. Both new pb's. Both of 'em pulled drag to the other side of the pond, so much fun on a medium.
@@fishingislife8432 Awesome, the secret lure is the bagley bass small fry, it’s vintage and made out of wood, it’s a crainbait and I caught my pb, 14.7
hook size shouldn't matter. Where we get in trouble is setting the hook too hard and ripping a hole in their mouth, which lets them jump and throw the bait. I've had to learn to just lift and keep my drag pretty loose when fighting the fish to keep them pinned.
@@kamron_thurmondin my creek there are so many snags as well, in the deeper pools I will use lures but for the most part in snagging creeks all use a bobber with a worm or live minnow or small bluegill and put the bobber just with enough space above the bait so it doesn’t get caught on snags or rocks
I just caught a 15 pound channel catfish on a wacky rig earlier today.
Yeah man, I’ve caught 2 on them. I guess they like them.

@@FishINwithGRAMPS one off the bites snapped me off
@@OwenInTheOutdoors heh, that'd be a nice toothy critter
Use mosquito owner hooks. Then tell me if your still losing fish.
prefer the half price yum dingers but nice tips
Many do, especially the bulk packs
What kind of o rings are those?
Mustad off set amzn.to/3Q5JlM3
What kind of hooks do you use and the size
These days I have been using neko hooks so I can just add a weight in the end and go back and forth
My favorite bait!! Wacky senko🔥🔥
What size neko hook is best?
I couldn't say what is "best", but I mostly use a 2
Do you let it sink or what?
Yup!

@@FishINwithGRAMPS it was tiny trout size, barely exposed past the worm
@@JohnJames. ah, gotcha!
Looks like a efficient way to snag on everything.
Great attitude!
@@FishINwithGRAMPS when I'm fishing my local Creek even with a Texas Rig I still snag stuff. This is an open hook.
@@kamron_thurmond there are tons of open hook baits, we just deal with it.
