Remember back in the day when you could not wait for your favorite show or move to cum on. And your so excited and before you know it. It's the end of the show and you are left With The Biggest CLIFFHANGER EVER!?!
    This Sail Life. 😆lol!
I Love it. Thank you for your time and the videos. Keep up the great work. So until next Sunday Morning 🌄.

Your making very good progress Mads. Very informative. Once you get the bathroom done, your boat will be much more comfortable. Only thing you are missing is someone to clean up the mess so it's not a man cave. You know those things... what do you call them. Oh! Curtains, cushion covers that someone knows how to match. Those other things. Good job!

A surface mount sliding door for the head could occupy the space next to the companionway steps when open and 'double sided' louvers would allow ventilation when the door is closed while still keeping any shower overspray out of the main cabin. I hope Ava brings a lot of colorful pillows and wall hangings, right now, Athena looks a bit like a hospital operating room. If a Polar Bear ever breaks in, you'll never be able to find it with all that white background!... 8{P

Hi Mads! Hopefully you read this. I'm studying computer science and would love to see detailed videos of your programming and setup of all the digital stuff!
Also, maybe create a second channel where you can upload longer, less or not edited, themed videos of your work? So when you do a couple of hours of work on software development, wood working, sewing, engine stuff, plumbing, etc., people who enjoy that could do so! Maybe for Patreons and mention in the videos that you have videos of all the work available over there?
PS. I understand if you don't have the time to read all comments so I will post this comment under a couple of (upcomming) videos.

Mads i love your solar arch. I built one for my boat and used 36mm angle iron on top to mount the panels and other stuff. Two things I wish I had thought of. 1. Slope the panels a little to stop water from pooling. They collect a lot of dirt that way. 2. Make sure the panels don’t stick out too far on the sides. Twice now my panels have hit pilings pulling away from docks at low tide.

Sam Holmes made a gasket for a deck mounted device. The gasket was tapered to match the round of the deck. I think that technique with work to make the gasket for your head to match the wall. He used a 3-d printer to make the gasket. Send him a drawing and measurements. Maybe he can make it for you if you don't have a printer. Sailors helping Sailors!

A little tips from when I was working in industrial painting, you can use some paper tape to remove the runs , when everything is " dry" except the excess of paint in the runs, you still need to do some o'glrorious sanding, but a bit less, and save some not necessary curing time

That's a really GOOD OUTBOARD!! if you know it or not. Always turn the fuel off when you tilt it up! And run the carburetor dry when you're done using it.
Super lightweight with two cylinders, two-stroke and a neutral and twist-grip throttle. It will run really smooth with two cylinders. Nowadays it's hard to find small motor with two cylinders! It has a good choke and not the stupid primer. They were available with remote tank, internal tank or some were made with switchover valve for both fuel option. Save that motor! It's way better than a heavy 4-stroke. Make sure you run 50 to 1 oil not hundred to one. Be sure to use non-ethanol fuel and fuel stabilizer! Enjoy the gym!

I just fitted a second hand intelinano genset controller to my onan 6.5kva genset. The installation was easy as pie and the results are life changing. Now I can control the genset with a single press of a button, get the info I need regarding output and frequency as well as use my victron equipment to auto start the genset at preset voltages/currents. As I said, life changing and pr programmed. Good luck with your plc controller and keep up the good work Mads

Hi Mads, Last 4 years living aboard we find we do not actually use the shower head in a fixed overhead position. Rather we have a fitting where it lives and we tend to use it as a wander lead for showering as it's easier to direct the water where it is needed rather than just cascading top down. Just a thought. Interesting generator info\system. Sail Safe Guys, Ant, Cid & the pooch crew.

Great job on the gen set, it looks to be moving right along. That's terrible news about the water tank, the builder should give it top priority in building you a new one with the correct revisions. I worked with diesel generators that have a lower load limit. If they operate below it for too long then carbon deposits form that can damage them. The solution is rather interesting, run it at high loading for a bit and it will clear the carbon out.

For the "toilet wedge", perhaps something that has a Stainless Steel plate sticking up from it. You could then embed a permanent Magnet in the toilet lid so that when you open it, the Magnet will grab the steel and hold the seat open. That way it won't just flop closed from the rocking action of the boat at sea.

A sliding pocket door for the head would have been a great idea -but that is probably way too late to do now. The wall would have needed to have been designed to enclose the pocket from the start.
Great progress though. I love your 4hp Evinrude. We have a 3HP Evinrude from 1953, it.pushes us along at about 5 knots in our Porta Bote which glides through the water almost like a hard dinghy. What more can we want? I can carry it with one hand which is handy when I need to move it between the dinghy transom and the aft rail mount when we tow or fold up the boat and bring it on deck.

Perkins ran well, and the automated controller looks really interesting. We have an aging, obsolete Mastervolt, again base on a 2 cylinder perkins, andit works well with preheat, electric oil pump to pre circulate the oil - this may be a desirable item to consider... Awesome video as always. I watch them all, but often on the Apple TV, so therefore almost never comment :)
In relation to the liferaft, it seems like you just stripped it down - which is fine I assume (I'm not expert here at all!), but I saw some video some time ago, actually about some cases here in Denmark where this thing was NOT done correctly, but on commercial ships (as I remember) they are required to have a self release thingy on.
As I understood it, it release based on pressure, so if the ship goes down, it sense the pressure and release the life raft - if it goes fast, you will not have time to run on deck and release it by hand.
Just a little tip - I have no idea what it's called or anything, but pretty sure it should be easy to find.

I noticed you have not fitted a Hydrostatic Release Unit on your liferaft, it is design for raft fitted on deak, and automatically releases the raft in the event of sudden sinking. Hope this is useful. Its easy at the beginning of a build as the job list is : build boat, but as you get closer to the finish the list gets really big. Well done i think your going to hit your deadline.

The plate where you attached the outboard to on the dinghy corrodes like crazy. Replace it with starboard.

I highly recommend using your label maker and labeling the relays. It will help in the future.

The temperature sensor should be on the freshwater side because if the water in the block leaks the exhaust would be about the same or put more then one

I just want to recommend a garment for you to have in Scottland. It is called Wool Power, made in Sweden. Amazing first layer and you will love it in Scottland.
