- In this video we use a couple of techniques to enhance this image from Glen Coe - adding a little extra sky, adding golden glow, and using 3D LUT to quickly tone our image.
Regular viewers will hopefully notice slightly better sound thanks to a new mic boom courtesy of Jeff Bezos.

Interesting and impressive. Thanks
Very useful video, thanks!
Excellent! Possibly your best. I have just upgraded to 4.8.0 and the reuse mask from a previous instance looks a great time saver.
I have never tried LUTs so I will look into that. Perhaps a 'how to use' subject for another video?
I'm not sold on the extend canvas for dt. I think I would extend the sky in Gimp as I think that would do a better job. I often shoot stitched panoramas, especially useful if you don't have a wide enough optic with you. I always add a couple of extra exposures at the start and end of the sequence so as not to get caught out with a problem like your constricted sky.
I noticed your colour calibration took away the blue cast from the snow on the mountain very nicely. Blue snow is a pet hate of mine! 😂.
Thank you for another excellent production.
This is a beautiful image and I certainly appreciate the tips. Food for thought, if you use time stamps for the video or even a description for the video including which modules are used, the TH-cam algorithms might recommend your channel to more users, in particular if someone's searching for information regarding a particular Darktable module. Thanks again.
Noted!
Nicely done. Could you have differentiated the cloned part of the sky with Liquify? I don't like the final preset, but that's on me.
Very probably, but for some reason Liquify tends to crash Darktable quite frequently for me.
Is that Linux Mint you are running?
Sure is.
@@DarktableLandscapes You can't go far wrong with Linux Mint :-)
