It’s crazy how as a scorpion/fujin main no one uses the misery blade variation. To me his best variation because of the mixups and 50/50 potential
Yeah that’s true, his mixups are crazy good but it’s not worth it if your opponent blocks them. Those moves are way too punishable

When you say rain has some of the best brutalities, I felt the same way... but I felt the same way watching other characters as well. It just must mean brutalities are the best thing for mk overall.

Thanks for making this video dude it was entertaining. I was just a scorpion main with a Shang secondary but then I started meeting many jaquis which is a bad match for Shang band scorpion so I decided to pick up more people and now rain is the character I play when I fight noob or jaqui. I understand why people say he needs a buff but I don’t because his movement is so fluid the length of the combos just adds up. Sorry for typing so much. If anybody wants rain shang or scorpion combos I’ll send a copy and paste of my notes.
Just picked up Rain, I'm just learning a few combos around geyser palm and the meter boost kick. I wouldn't mind learning a few more tho! Not sure if you'll check this but do you mind sending me some?

Idk. I the Purple rain lightning brutality is cool. But i think i like the kicking from side to side one better just from the amount of "Eff you" energy i get from it. Like it's one thing to shock someone to death and burn their flesh off. But to kick someone in the same place repeatedly until their limbs fly off and they die is just more insulting yet visually interesting imo.

I bought the ultimate pack with everything in it. They had a sale on it a few weeks back. I think even without the sale, it's cheaper than the "nickle and dime" method of unlocking.

I love MK I really do and I always have. I wish I could be a more avid player. If I were I know that Skarlet and Rain would be my go to fighters. More so Rain though becuase he has always been one of my favorite characters. A newer favorite would be Erron Black but I digress Rain is my no1. It's kinda wierd though because I usually tend to like character that are good or neutral and Rain is Evil.

purple rain is a song by prince. so either copyright issues to make it "purple pain" or generic mk reference where they just make it sound really similiar as they do with alot of stuff
