If you have a hole that spans two planar sides of a model in Meshmixer and you need to fill in that hole, keeping the sharp edges, this is a technique you can use to get that nice edge.
Hey, thanks for the tutorial, for some reason - On transform of the primitive square, I can't change the size of it (can't select and resize etc...) any ideas? Thanks
hello, nice video and i tried to apply it to my issue with stl file of armored car but without luck. Issue is that the body is too thin so i'm trying to find a way of eiher thikening insid or filling inside, but so far without any luck. Would you be willing to help me please, possibly made vid about it?
Really cool but I must have done something wrong because when I turned over the part, it was totally sunken in....Yikes! How do I keep the front of the part from being affected?
Or it might be easier if you just delete the "bridge" at the bottom of the (assumedly) hollow model where the helmet turns from outside to inside. Once that area is deleted, you have separated the inner and outer shells so they are no longer connected. Then select a small area on the inside shell, and hit "e" to expand the selection then "delete" to remove it. Then just use the select tool to double click on the blue edge that is remaining and hit "f" to fill it.

Sure! Usually, if other walls are being affected, you need to turn off the "Volumetric" checkbox in the sculpting tool you are using.
Exactement
i just need to make a helmet solid with no opening at the bottom

Not work with thin body
You should be able to disable "volumetric" in the sculpt tool to prevent the sculpt brush from affecting the other side of the thin body.
