Hello from France ! I am a 67 years old knitter, who has been knitting for...59 or 60 years ! I discovered you in a fruity knitting podcast, a few months ago and I am happy to watch yours now ! Your patterns really are lovely, and I think I shall some day knit one. Please, excuse my bad English... amicalement, Pascale
Thank you for the darning close up. It was helpful. I am inspired by your commitment to focus on love, the good, and true, and beautiful in this life. It can be so very hard but your encouragement to do so is a reminder for all. Thank you for sharing Nouwen’s book as well. Blessings
Later to the party here but better than never. Wonderful heart felt gifts for your wedding! liked that way of 'patching' a hole in a sweater. almost cried watching knitting in Tuscany.......you do know how to do and say things that are so powerful! Love, me
So beautiful an episode. Most delicious insights about your book and the energy of gifts received & created by hand. Watching the darning too, so enjoyable. A lovely tempo of conversation and visuals to knit with. Thank you so much, I will look into patreon. ❤🍵
What a comforting episode, so many of your words resound in me, as you say life is about choices, not in what happens but in how we deal with life and that changes things and can be so powerful. It is so wonderful to watch something that is about knitting with such a talented knitter as yourself, but that also has such deep foundations in love, it warms my heart every time I watch you. Your retreat in Tuscany looked wonderful and it would be a dream to be part of that. I’m eagerly awaiting my first sock clue, and I will be knitting it this weekend, and it’s nice to think of knitters all over the world doing the same! Have a lovely weekend knitting and spending time with your loved ones. ❤
Thank you so much for your previous two episodes and this one. All of them are so inspiring and have such profound words. All my best wishes for your recent union! Regarding your latest podcast, a special thank you for the knitting repairs. As a child, I learned to darn socks, but only the first step in the form of a grid, which was not very aesthetic. But it couldn't be seen because it was hidden by the shoe. I am absolutely delighted to be shown, fifty years later, how to take up the stitches to hide the mending and make the garment look new again. Thank you very much for your clear video.
Ooops! I watched that section again and see that you didn't use a pattern. I guess I might have to be brave and make one up, too. Your marsma is lovely.
I love how you describe knitting at the beginning of this podcast, oh how true it is, always one more row. Would you mind telling me the name of the blanket pattern you show at 1:11, it is Beautiful and I love your colors as I always do. Your closeline of mittens is spectacular. 🤗

Unfortunately auto translate on TH-cam doesn’t have English.
There are subtitles in English, I translate, write and add them myself. I hope you can find the right button. Warmly, Sofia
