I was fortunate enough to see them twice for every album from CFH on!! On the Trendkill tour the intro for the show was SN part 1 into part 2 live........8,000 - 15,000 (depending on the venue) going apeshit!! Miss those days, truly some of the best times of my life.
That's awesome, I wish I was old to see them in the 90's, would've loved to see the Trendkill tour since that's my favorite album of theirs. At least I saw them once on the Reinventing the Steel tour!
I love that 1:14 phil stomp at every vid i've seen.. I wish i could see them live but i was too young. But thanks to people like you we have atleast videos we can watch :)
Pantera were without any doubt the bast band of the day. I was 18 at the time. I remember starting a mud fight with my mates on the banks after getiing high. Im 30 now with a kid of my own. Cant wait untill she old enough so i can tace her to some festivals. For obviouse reasons i wont be getting high though.
Was just thinking about how amazing it woulda been an AiC Pantera co headline tour. Screaming Trees and Corrosion of Conformity opening, that’d be the BEST rock n roll experience
Don’t think that way every generation can have this same level of love for bands that are best of the generation example Elvis/beetle ,lead zep /sabbath ,Metallica/gnr , aic /Panthera
Look at Phil man, 1:14 ~ He looks like he's TRYING to break his neck! That's awesome. Comparing the Philip then to the Philip now, he was fuckin' nightmarish... in a good way though. He's really toned down a lot, which was good for him, too. 5 stars.
so we fucking need to rally up the whole metal community and get pantera inducted into the hall of fame, they fucking deserve it more than ANY other band. it needs to be done.
Does sound good, its from the audio recording i made.Maybe a few more clips from this show can be synced with this audio. If i get the time i will do it myself.
hopefully this show will be reposted to dimeadozen or somethin... been looking for this for a while. there's 2 of them aren't there? one from a far and the other being the one above?? i have that exact same EHG shirt.
one question, in live performances of suicide note 2 phil often tends to change the lyrics right before the chorus (in this one its like fuck it I wanna headbang forever haha), does anyone know what is he saying? i can't help it, it escapes my english knowledge
@Goratory666 dude phil = my idol .. pantera , down, superjoint ritual = my favorite bands more then any other bands hands fucking down.. an i can say right the fuck now.. Whitechapes album.. this is exile is fucking amazing.. as for there latest album that sucks an the first album is average. just a thought give it another go ..
that was a rather silly thing to say we think, his vocal lines on the new Down stuff are better than this stuff here. however i do see your point, he is really good here but he doesn't quite compare to what he's like now.
I called them lamb of shit or something similar..that's great man. I saw them open for Metallica and I just felt, damn wouldn't it be nice to see Down or something open up for them instead.
@Goratory666 if you were to say all the songs sound the same on the 3 rd album id agree... but the 2nd all songs stand out... clearly they are very talented lol the drums are nuts the tech guitar riffs an solos... its not basic mate i think you need to realize that... fair enough if you dont like them but you cant take away the fact that its not basic/easy and is in fact difficult to play. messuggah is far better yes. but whitechapel go good. you sound one track minded anyways. bye
vinces drumming is so insane

Lucky man

@@aaronkenney_17 your lucky that you at saw them once
I was born at 99 and it hurts my soul that I will never see this band live.
thats more than fortunate thats fuckin legendary
I love that 1:14 phil stomp at every vid i've seen.. I wish i could see them live but i was too young. But thanks to people like you we have atleast videos we can watch :)
best metal band of the 90s ...
They were a highly original band. In the metal genre, bands aren't usually versatile or innovative.
Omg that 1:14 drums also sounds fucking amazing !!!!
reply to my own comment. THIS IS STILL FUCKING BRUTAL! I almost brake my neck
rip Vinnie
damn it i wish i wasn't 3 years old in 98 ;(
You should watch the vids where Phil is talking about his drug-abuse.
Just enter "Phil Loyola"...speaking about drugs at a college...VERY interesting.
When Phil screams with his guts, it's spine wrenching.

01:00
i can feel the sound intensity as if I were on the show...
Pantera rocked the world 90s beyond brother God bless Vinnie and Darrell
Alice In Chains & Pantera. Best 2 bands that lived the life they wrote about. Never again will it be done like those 2 bands did. Never

Absolutely right there the best 2
DESCENDING DOWN!!!!
I was there! *sigh* really good times. And fucking awesome Pantera performance.
Everyone saying Pantera rocked in the 90's... As far as I know they're one of the most hardcore, if not THE most hardcore band to ever exist
@greenmean666 will never be another band like them R.I.P. Dimebag \,,/
badass ! Miss this band too !

passion...... N energy,,
Vinnie´s sound and Drum parts sound perfect.

Fucked the hall of fame they are in mine and your HOF brother
I was there...brilliant show... :)
There is only one thing more powerful than this band and this song and that is God.
Does sound good, its from the audio recording i made.Maybe a few more clips from this show can be synced with this audio. If i get the time i will do it myself.
Vinnie's drums are insane

FeelMetalMan he was always wasted dude...it's incoherent rambling. Still sounded awesome though
This was Ozzfest ‘97 not 98

Footage sucks, but it captures some real shit!

A little band called Lamb of God would soon steal this and try to make a name for themselves from it..lol
Good shit
