Have their sockets and other tools and wanna say that Quality is very good for the price, usually they do not cost much on ebay, but once again quality is one head above from dat china made stuff that is everywhere today.
You can still warranty them with Apex, you just won't get the original USA made tool. You'll either get a Crescent or Sata brand if you an Allen tool. If you own Armstrong brand, they'll send you the Gearwrench equivalent.
It's pretty sorry when companies won't even build tools in the USA like they used to......The workers weren't getting rich.....If they were a union shop,you just know that the union gave back benefits to the company to where the workers were just barely making it....But companies only care about the bottom line....Like that old Van Halen song goes "Where have all the good times gone?"
Cool video! I bought a bunch if masterforce USA wrenches at menards just before they went chinese. Have to say they are very nice wrenches. I love tools also. Its an addiction. And when i wrench on old greasy stuff, i just use cheap tools because i dont want to dirty up my pretty tools. Crazy?... Lol

I just bought this ratchet at a garage sale for a few dollars. I took it apart to clean. Pretty disappointing. The plate is that thin sheet metal, and the push button is plastic. The ratchet overall is okay, but it is not as high quality as other U.S. made ratchets.
Allen was good. They did lots of military contracts. Plenty of durable tools.
