Its crazy, but I think it's possible to hear that a system is roughly natural sounding on yt. Even though I listen through non natural sounding headphones/phone. It would be fun to hear the real deal!

This is the only hobby or sport or whatever have the fans being more demanding than what you hear about the movie stars being!
Movie stars get paid millionsand usually have a stunt double or someone doing the stuff for them. Even sign their own names for them.
You have a day job take the time to do all of this and post it and then people get so demanding. And it's not even that you are just ignoring them it's because you're busy! If you were ignoring them you wouldn't even do this to begin with you don't get paid anything to do these uploads!
you hear of people on TH-cam having millions of followers and views and barely making anything. and yes you make a few jobs here in there off of the content you post and I know you're grateful as I am for you but it's nowhere near the return needed for the time involved. Just the equipment and things you buy to make the uploads..... I seriously doubt you even broken even on those!

Hi. Ipswich Suffolk. It's a long distance from you. When I saw your setup specially twin 18s I wanted to try IB in a6. My brother laughed at me when I was making install and using boot as sub box :D I really liked that nice, clean bass. Shame that only had for 3 months. Would love to go back to IB sub but I think my car is not suitable for this..

ealneas1 1. You’re not far at all! People come to me from Leeds, Manchester, Bristol distances, let alone the latest car that came from Denmark. They don’t care about the distance when they know what they get! 🤷🏻♂️
2. Yes, you need separation between front & rear wave in IB, A7 is a no no without cutting the floor. You can have similar response from the right large drivers in big sealed boxes, but then you loose a fair amount of space from the trunk. People buy cars with a certain mindset if they want IB! 😃
@@pssound9749 Haha crazy but I bet they are not disappointed with what service and quality they get 🙂 Shame that it can't be done. I love that sub but do not want to cut a hole. Maybe if I knew that this is going to be my last car with combustion engine😄
I have now a 15 inch drive in 35x17x16.5 inch ported box tuned to 35hz.
I have replaced front speakers with Steg 3 way components and all running active. All processing done by helix pro mkii and feeding them from helix 6 channel amp. My audio source is from phone to dsp via usb.
I struggle to get my staging right and the mid bass is lacking it.
But it sounds still better then factory speakers 🙂
Waiting now until you will do video about setting up and eq system. If that doesn't help me to setup where I am more then happy then I might will need to go for a trip to you. After this lockdown finishes.

@Pssound . In the beginning of this video you state using a bit one and factory amps? can you explain how this is done with the most system? I know you can go from factory to aftermarket using a most adaptor but wasnt aware that using factory amps was even possible because I thought they all used most input but I could be missing something for sure.

Drew Balsman we don’t use the factory amp. We took the MOST signal with the Audison Bit DMI and went straight into the DSP with optical.

HU has MOST25 integration, mobile devices direct streaming to the DSP, that’s all you need really.

First he had the HAT U2, now the HAT L2SE.
In an active system mid-high speakers never get the same power as the midbass/bass drivers, but it has the same amp channel for 2” widebands as for midbass.

K12 is so cheap that you definitely can’t find anything else really in that range and for the money it works alright.

Pretty good if you play lossless from the DAP. HD BT with HDSP V is definitely better though.
I have morel virtus 602 components in my jeep compass want to add sub confused between morel ultimo 12 inches sub woofer or helix 12 q.which one is good for deep bass in sq setup.need clean bass.please suggest
Haven’t had a chance to play with Ultimo, but the Q12W is awesome 30-40L sealed.

i wouldn't use any of them. MP3 is compressed and phone DAC is poor regardless of what phone it is.

Peter, I bet youve heard many of the newer OEM high end systems. Are there any that you would just keep cause they are so good, or do you find a lot of flaws even in the best OEM systems? Considering many of them have 10+ drivers, I would imagine that should be an impossible task for the manufacturer to create a great sound stage for the driver?
bingoberra18 believe it or not I haven’t heard an OEM high level audio system for ages. Pretty much all of my clients know the difference (major), hence they bring their cars to me! 😃
For the manufacturers it’s more important to keep speakers out of the way, leave more space for storage, etc, plus to fill the car up with speakers everywhere, so at least they can say what you pay big $$$ for!

Actually just had a thought where do you put the mic for measurements then!? I had been mounting it in the head rest but if your sitting in the car what do you do?
Ben Stan oh yeah that’s the tricky one and on the top of that what settings u use in the software to get an accurate and consistent reading.
Unfortunately this is what i can not share and i know people hate it, but my competition is watching too, plus it took me years to learn it!
Audio Frog has a good tuning guide as well as MiniDSP’s page is packed with user guide too, where you can learn a lot. 👌
