      Matt Albino True, I've personally only started producing 6 months ago and I'm nowhere near a commercial level but I have to say results come quicker then expected sometimes as long as there is dedication and genuine love for the craft.

    I remember seeing statik selektah at fat beats in Melrose (LA) back in late 2007 with Evidence, dj premier and dj khalil. I had no idea who he was back then. percee p was there too, he was selling his new album at the time called perseverance

    I love static selekta's beats but if im getting this right he just chops up older jazz music and adds 808's? Cuz this is a different style than anything you can make with Fl Studio

      you definitely can do this in FL lol. check out the 'Newtone" vst in FL 12... same thing as melodyne. And mad producers use this technique to put basslines below samples
