Tractor Time with Tim it’s actually understandable considering where we are located in Indiana....Wabash River, Wabash valley, Wabash county, city of Wabash...did that help 😉
And don’t forget...Wabash College that is neither in the city of Wabash or the county of Wabash Indiana🤣 I grew up in rural Wabash County Indiana and when I was in college everybody and their brother asked me why I didn’t “stay home and go to Wabash College?”
Your mind just blocked it out, because Wayne County is where you had the trauma of buying a stolen tractor, right? And, if I'm guessing right, where that happened isn't all that far from this five acres. Bad Wayne County! 😸 😸
Love videos with your Dad ! My Dad died from cancer 5 years ago on my 40th birthday but the stories he could tell me about the land and it’s history was priceless. To hear your Dad tell you about the land and capture it on film to share with the world. Thanks Tim ! ❤️
Man I could listen to your father all day! Reminds me of my youth with neighboring farmers. Salt of the earth. God has blessed him and your family, may he continue to do so.
Tim - never thought of it before now - open the grapple wide aim it to the ground and press in 2". Then drive forward - Raking the ground into the pile ! Now I see you do it! Love your Dad's humor ! Nice family.
Enjoyed seeing you getting to spend time with your dad and family. Reminds me of the many years I was blessed to share with my mom and dad on the farm. I’m sure you’ll treasure those times along with the wisdom, experiences and humor he shares for years to come.
Sure was nice seeing your folks! Your Dad is full of so much History and stories! You and your family win the lottery every day they are with you. Very disappointing to hear how the Government handled this property as it could feed someone as you pointed out.
Awsome video. Love seeing father son work together.......i lost my dad at 27 almost 9yrs ago......feels like 20yrs now...... Please say thanks to your dad for being on the video for me. And thank you for the video.
Getting your dad to help with the ending is just special. A fun video to watch is others helping you with saying “Tractor Time with Tim”. Love the old wagon. My dad loved the Rambler station wagons when I was a teenager. He could take out several letters on the grill and it would spell our last name.
As wonderful and informative all of your TTWT videos are, your family videos are by far the ones I enjoy the most. Old farmers and their wives are my heroes. God Bless you all. 🙏⛪📙
I told Tom this story, but the short version is my Dad cleared a similar field in the early 80s, it was a wet hole that couldn’t drain. He dug out the ditches and got the water draining. As he watched the water flow out, he saw a small fish swim by. They passed the Swampbuster act the next year.
2020 is officially off the rails! I do believe I saw Tim doing a bit of manual labor picking up sticks by hand! J/K. Love seeing your mom and dad out and about Tim!
Your father reminds me so much of my great grandfather. He grew up in North Salem in the 1910s and 20s. He had great stories about messing with his siblings while farming. His favorite one involved a horse, a plow, and a bee.
Tractor Time with Tim - I basically grew up in ‘em... they were all my mom had until just before I got my own driver’s license. We live on top of a fairly large hill; and back in the late ‘80s, it was totally unpaved. I still remember being in the far back of a Pontiac Parisianne wagon, with a v8, rear-wheel-drive, and an open differential; climbing that hill in a rainstorm and fishtailing all over the road. To this day I don’t know how she managed to keep it out of the ditches that run on either side of the road.... I still like them better than SUVs... even with an old, low-powered v8 (well, compared to today’s 400+ hp monster v8s) and an open differential; they handle better and are actually more practical. I kinda wish they hadn’t gone the way of the dodo (and no, a Subaru doesn’t qualify - they’re nice cars, but too small).
Sweet. Chevrolet Caprice Station Wagon from the 1990s. They will run forever. Rear wheel drive small block V8 engine. Your Mother knows a great car. Bless our mothers
Don’t know if it is new, or I don’t pay attention, but I like how the tractor drives in with the “a” and puts it in place, instead of just lifting it up from the “T” it looks more professional.
It's a shame about the bureaucratic stuff with that piece of land. But look at the bright side, it allowed you this project and time with your folks. Always a silver lining! Thanks for bringing us along for the ride.
Your Dad is funny. Thank you for the review on the Deere 3rd function kit. I was curious to how true 3rd function compares against a diverter kit, it seems it makes more sense to stick with the diverter when dealing with smaller equipment.
I'm happy you got some farmin' time in with your Dad! Awesome! Good point about the difference in operation between the third function and the diverter. I loaded some heavy logs onto a trailer and really liked being able to open the clamps slowly to ensure placement using the diverter valve. I'm still very happy with my Artillian grapple and diverter.
I miss my father, gone over 25 years now; more treasure in heaven. We used to burn brush, but he used old tires to start the fires. This was long before the EPA, and we we didn't know any better.
42sec in.......i know this is definatly going to be the best video! .......i paused it cause i had to write this and go top off my coffee to watch! Be right back
I don’t have a cabin on my GC1723EB either; but I just got finished installing a ROPS-mounted sun shade, and onto that I mounted a 12-volt ‘cab’ fan (such as is used in big-rig cabs)... and WOW does it make a difference. You’ve already got the sun-shade installed; so you’re 75% of the way there... I highly recommend adding one.
It is great to be able to spend time with your dad. I know I have enjoyed spending time with my dad on the weekends working on cleaning up our farm. Building memories that will last a lifetime.
Nice to see your Mom an Dad again, Tim! I looked into buying a Case tractor like your Dad was running, the guy said it was in great shape an sent me a picture. Went to see it and thought this can't be the same one. I told the guy this is pretty misleading from the picture, he said you want it or not. I didn't it was leaking oil every where an didn't need a fixer upper
It's great you can spend time with your parents. My parents are both gone and I think of them every day. I live in a house that Mom sketched a carpenter, Dad, and I built. Dad had his own way of starting fires that I will not discuss. I have the Deere 3rd function couplers on my loader arm. I am interested to see how you connected the 2 sets of hoses from the grapple to the loader arm connectors.
Your folks seem like wonderful people. The government needs to let the farmers do the farming and the government needs to stick to the mess they have. Great video Tim thanks for sharing
Great to see your mum and dad.....they look great! This info about the grapple is helpful for us because we are thinking of getting one. Another great video, thanks Tiny Tim (hubby and I affectionaly refer to Tim as "Tiny Tim" bcuz he is so tall LOL) and Kristie:) Kind regards to your mum and dad. P.S. Loved hearing your dad's tell the story about his father working the land....precious.
Whenever I have burned a brush pile, I used kerosene to start it. Also used a blower at the base to keep it burning. Depending on how big the pile was, I might use a pipe between the blower and the fire. What's your thoughts on the matter?
We had an ex-fire-chief in our neighborhood who would use a mix of gas and diesel (I’m not sure what the ratio was) to start backblazes; the gas gave it a little bit of ‘kick’; and the diesel kept it from being too volatile...
i can't believe how many things y'all do on that farm exactly like we do on our farm... we did the exact same with the seed bags when i was a little kid up until we got a seed tender a couple years ago... considering how far we are apart and we have the little tips and tricks almost like we read the same book on farming for dummies 50 years ago...lol
Another great video with your dad (and mom)! Government land control not unlike where I live. Looks like the the Cross Diversion Ditch connects to the river. It is used for irrigation or drainage?
I really enjoy watching you working with your dad as I really enjoy doing projects with my father but unfortunately this Covid is stealing valuable time I can spend time with him :(
Hi Tim and Christy Tim its easy to make an error we all make them it was wonderful to see your Mum and your Dad its men in denim like your dad built your beautiful country and the men in suits will destroy it nice video take care
I am getting a Frontier 60" plow for my "still at the dealers" 2032R with FEL, I am waiting for them to put on the backhoe and for the Radial Tires to come in. They said I need the 3rd function installed, but it is back ordered. I wondered if I really need it. I had figured that I could set the plow straight up and disconnect its hoses to use to angle the plow. They said the hydraulics would drift, I think it would not, because the hoses are not connected to anything. What do you think Tim?
When you paint everything with a broad brush you are bound to miss the mark more than not. You said it, when you sit in Washington it would be hard to decide what is flood plane and what is good farmland. The river doesn't look like the Mississippi or Ohio. I too love the station wagon. When you regulate the family size cars and make everything compact it is no wonder we all drive SUVs and pickup trucks. Enough grumbling, the government does more good than bad so I will shut up now. Good to see Mom and Dad. Glad all are well. Thanks
I'm sorry. This is WAYNE COUNTY, IL, not Wabash County. Not sure how I made such a basic error, but I did!

Watching in Wayne County Ohio!
Thank your for explaining 3rd function :)

Thanks for sharing.
Tim - never thought of it before now - open the grapple wide aim it to the ground and press in 2". Then drive forward - Raking the ground into the pile ! Now I see you do it! Love your Dad's humor ! Nice family.
Yep! Works pretty well as a ‘chisel plow’!
Really enjoyed seeing your Dad again.. glad to see he is doing well
Enjoyed seeing you getting to spend time with your dad and family. Reminds me of the many years I was blessed to share with my mom and dad on the farm. I’m sure you’ll treasure those times along with the wisdom, experiences and humor he shares for years to come.

Tim and Dad this is great seeing you interact with your dad it's heart warming
God Bless All

There's nothing better than sharing a job with the old man after your next video it really makes this one special
Awsome video. Love seeing father son work together.......i lost my dad at 27 almost 9yrs ago......feels like 20yrs now......
Please say thanks to your dad for being on the video for me. And thank you for the video.
Enjoy doing stuff with your Mom and Dad! I lost both my parents last year and I miss them every day.
Another great video, Tim!!
Real glade to see your Dad

I love listing to what your dad says so much random wisdom
It's always great to spend time with our dad's! Time is precious, enjoy every second that you can
Dad's a good man. Thanks for introducing us. 😃
2020 is officially off the rails! I do believe I saw Tim doing a bit of manual labor picking up sticks by hand! J/K. Love seeing your mom and dad out and about Tim!
Dad told me to! I had to work by hand!!
I love hearing your dad talk and his laugh, great family time, enjoy you are Blessed!
Your father reminds me so much of my great grandfather. He grew up in North Salem in the 1910s and 20s. He had great stories about messing with his siblings while farming. His favorite one involved a horse, a plow, and a bee.
Always enjoy watching you with your dad and family on the farm takes me back to how l grew up
💥 Loved this video! Your dad seems to be to doing well. My favorite videos are the ones with you working with your dad.
*Keep on tractoring!*
So great to see your dad and hear the stories that only they have! Mine has been gone for nearly 50 years.
It's great enjoying working with dad
Priceless quality time with dad, nothing better!
Yep!
It was good to see your dad doing well and able to get out in a tractor...awesome 👍
Oh, wow I haven’t seen one of those in a loooooong time... an actual station wagon!
They bought it new. Mom loves it. So they will keep it...no matter how many repairs!!

Same with us. Dad traded every year for awhile. One of our favorites was the 1974 Olds with the 455 Rocket V8! Got about 8mpg.
Sweet. Chevrolet Caprice Station Wagon from the 1990s. They will run forever. Rear wheel drive small block V8 engine. Your Mother knows a great car.
Bless our mothers
I drive the daddy of station wagons, a volvo 850 (later to become the v70) and its worth its weight in gold
Love seeing your Father in the videos!
Nice to see you spending time with your dad. Makes me miss mine. Enjoy every minute!!

Nice to see you hanging with your dad. He knows where to get a grapple. 🙂🙂🙂
Hi Tim god bless your dad if he is still alive 👍.
Careful dads going to steal the show! Thanks for sharing.
It's a shame about the bureaucratic stuff with that piece of land. But look at the bright side, it allowed you this project and time with your folks. Always a silver lining! Thanks for bringing us along for the ride.
Great video, Tim. Made me miss working alongside my grandpa on the farm. Brought a tear to my eye watching this!
Great seeing your parents. Seeing your dad get some tractor time puts a smile on my face.
Us too!
Hi Tim,
S glad to see you having fun with your folks. Times you will cherish forever!
At least your dad had an air conditioned cab!
That was a great episode Tim. Your dad is a hoot! Thanks so much for sharing. God Bless.
Your Dad is funny.
Thank you for the review on the Deere 3rd function kit.
I was curious to how true 3rd function compares against a diverter kit, it seems it makes more sense to stick with the diverter when dealing with smaller equipment.

Great video, Tim. You have a proud father, I bet he’s got some really interesting stories from his life.

Tim I'm so glad you had time with your Dad. The memories are priceless.
Thanks for sharing Tim. As always, I really appreciate the videos with your dad. Great to see him again!
I love watching the videos with your Dad reminds me of the farmers I grew up around in upstate New York hard working honest men in overalls

It is great to be able to spend time with your dad. I know I have enjoyed spending time with my dad on the weekends working on cleaning up our farm. Building memories that will last a lifetime.
Great video. It looks to be about as dry there as it has been here in NH. Finally getting some rain now. Thanks.

There are many 580’s out there. Lots of them used every day for many years. Totally worn out. Yes, you must be careful.
Good to ses your dad still at it too bad you didn't have many farm videos this year. Stay safe
Your Dad is great.
Great job and nice to see your mom and dad again. 👍👍👍
Family is everything.

Yep. Dad fell a day or two ago. broke 2 ribs. He is in the hospital now.
Srry to hear that tim, especially with everything going on ya can't be with him unless he's at home, hope he's better soon
It was good to see your mom and dad. How's Katriel Doing? we need and update on her adventures.
Whenever I have burned a brush pile, I used kerosene to start it. Also used a blower at the base to keep it burning. Depending on how big the pile was, I might use a pipe between the blower and the fire. What's your thoughts on the matter?
Glad you got Time with your Dad great video 🇺🇸🚜
Love watching you Channel. I appreciate your You and Christi and your family and scripture at end of videos.
Thanks Daniel! We appreciate you watching and commenting!
Good to do things like that with your Dad!! Glad he is doing well!! Ya I’ve seen that trick with the seed sack!!
We had an ex-fire-chief in our neighborhood who would use a mix of gas and diesel (I’m not sure what the ratio was) to start backblazes; the gas gave it a little bit of ‘kick’; and the diesel kept it from being too volatile...
Typically 2 parts diesel to 1 part gas.
Great tim one of your best vids
GREAT to see your dad back on the VIDEO scene , and WOW was that really a station what did they call that thing again???
Buick Roadmaster.
And I thought that my grandparents were the only ONES left on earth that have one, 52000 miles on it ORIGINAL ALL THE WAY
i can't believe how many things y'all do on that farm exactly like we do on our farm... we did the exact same with the seed bags when i was a little kid up until we got a seed tender a couple years ago... considering how far we are apart and we have the little tips and tricks almost like we read the same book on farming for dummies 50 years ago...lol
Fascinating!
@@TractorTimewithTim i always liked the smell of those burning bags.. lol
I’m probably late to the game, but I just now noticed the cheese burger above the letter I in the revised logo. Great attention to detail!
Same here lol
Haha that’s awesome ! I never noticed either
Another great video with your dad (and mom)! Government land control not unlike where I live. Looks like the the Cross Diversion Ditch connects to the river. It is used for irrigation or drainage?
I’ll be headed to Olney in a couple of weeks. I live in West Texas, but absolutely love it up there.
My mother has moved to olney a year ago...nice little town
I really enjoy watching you working with your dad as I really enjoy doing projects with my father but unfortunately this Covid is stealing valuable time I can spend time with him :(
YEA, GET EM DIDDY! LOL.........holy cow, is that a 95ish roadmaster wagon...what a unit
96 model. The last year they were made. Dad traded every year until they stopped making them. They have had a GM station wagon since 1969.
Hi Tim how come the new Jonny doesn’t have the rear wheel weights any more
Hi Tim and Christy Tim its easy to make an error we all make them it was wonderful to see your Mum and your Dad its men in denim like your dad built your beautiful country and the men in suits will destroy it nice video take care
Good to see your mom and dad in the video.
Too bad about the history of that 5 acres. Some things just do not make any sense.
Tears Tim! :'(
Its always nice to see your parents in a video. Can you grow and cut hay on that land, or is that considered farming too?
They are investigating.
I think they are correct. I have a loader mounted plow. I could not use it without the tilt/curl hooked up.
Why would your dad want to buy one when he has you. LOL
Right!
Thanks
Government...more good than bad? Debateable, but i digress
Great video!
That caprice wagon though
Buick Roadmaster
Good work tim
Greetings to you sir
Why did you take the wheel weights off?
Getting ready to get Rimguard....then got distracted.
