I was having a problem where mail and calendar was not syncing. I troubleshoot the situation to realize that applications outside of the browser was not working. I went through some steps to clean things up and get apps outside of the browser working again.

According to my Network+ training, there are 3 basic troubleshooting methodologies... top to bottom, bottom to top (OSI layers), and divide and conquer. I almost always deploy divide and conquer, and that works best for troubleshooting startup apps too. if the issue is solved by turning off 20 startup programs, turn the first 10 in the list back on and reboot. is the issue resolved? if yes, then turn 5 back on, and so on. you can figure the rest out from there, but it can get tricky when it's a conflict between 2 programs, which can happen. I learn a lot from your channel, so I hope this helps 😉
In the future, may I humbly suggest that you don't spend much of the video telling us all the things that didn't work and get to the solution that did? Unless you were trying to teach us a troubleshooting methodology, but, not sure because I fast forwarded, lol.

Did u try typing commandprompt program in the windows search bar and then right clicking on it then running it as admin?

hey man, im having the same issue your facing in the video, my browser has access to the internet(but cant open any link exceept youtube for whatever reason), and my applications are having no internet connections
i tried the sfc scan, it repaired some corrupted file
but after i rebooted the laptop, it made no difference, no app has any internet connection yet, i have no idea what to do now
any suggestions?

And get the programme reinstalled, basically reformat the laptop, so now it connects
