- Carnival Jubilee will make her debut in December of 2023. We provide a detailed first look, deck by deck, as we compare the changes to sisters Carnival Celebration and Mardi Gras. Join us as we uncover all of the Excel-class sized fun that’s going to appear on the new Carnival Jubilee!
You can watch our Complete History of the Carnival Jubilee here:

On November 11, 2021, Carnival Cruise Lines announced that Carnival's 3rd Excel-class ship would be named Carnival Jubilee and would home port in Galveston, Texas. This would be the largest Carnival Cruise Line ship the port has ever hosted and we've seen multiple Texas-sized touches throughout the construction process.
We dug deep into all of our photos and videos of ships in this fleet, along with the deck plans of Mardi Gras, Carnival Celebration do a side-by-side comparison and complete ship tour of the new Carnival Jubilee. There are a lot of spaces that appear on the Excel-class cruise ships that we already know and love, like Bolt Ultimate Sea Coaster, new and unique dining venues like Chibang!, and of course our favorite Serenity adults-only retreat.
Carnival Jubilee also introduces two completely new zones that host bars and restaurants that will be exclusive to the ship. Currents and The Shores host a variety of new spaces with completely new theming compared to her sister ships. Our Complete Ship Tour walks you through these spaces and looks at how they compare to her sisters.
We tour each deck from the very top (Deck 19) to the very bottom (Deck 4), making stops at all of the changes along the way.
Are you already booked to sail Carnival Jubilee when she makes her debut out of Galveston, TX? We’d love to hear about your booking and what you're most excited about with the newest Carnival cruise ship to join the fleet!

This tour is fantastic!!
Thank you! We love reviewing deck plans for changes. Really excited for the new zones coming out on Carnival Jubilee.
Good video Im gonna book on the jubilee on my next vacation. Cheers
Thank you,
Where do you find the info about what’s included the inaugural season? And when that ends?
Most of those details were shared by Carnival Cruise Brand Ambassador, John Heald, on his Facebook page. He tends to share those details as they get released by the "beards" as he calls it. Sometimes this information also comes up in a press release from the cruise line as well. So there are several different sources that we use.
@@thiscruiselife ok thank you!
Great Job! Sailing on 10/5/2024....cannot wait!
It’s gonna be a great cruise, no doubt!
thanks for this video as I am going on my first cruise on the Jubilee in April this gives me a good look at the ship and decks.
Thanks for watching! Stay tuned to the channel for more details and videos of the Jubilee once we get on board!
Nice videos guys 😍
Thank you!
Thanks for the great tour video, I’ll be on her on her first December sailing
Thanks for watching! Come find us on board, we’re so excited!
Great info! I’m excited to have Jubilee in my home port Galveston! Just 5 minutes from
My family’s weekend house!
@@jacksimmons4843 that’s amazing! We love Carnival’s Excel class of ships and think this is a great addition to Galveston!
@@thiscruiselifereach out if you need any tips while in Galveston before or after!
Will see you in two weeks
It’s getting closer! So excited!
so is the inaugural season all of 2024 with the ChiBang for free & Alchemy bar with cheers package? Going in April not sure which restaurants will cost money
Hey there; thanks for watching and the question! Carnival has not defined how long the “inaugural season” will be. With Carnival Celebration, it was just under a year, so you should be good with Chibang and Cucina Del Capitano being included an unlimited number of times for dinner. In terms of the CHEERS! Package, if you have an offer for free drinks, that will be unique to your VIFP profile (details will be included in your offer). We’d love to see free drinks for the inaugural season tho! :)
Wanted to see the Jubilee

We are sailing the 30th on Jubilee hate to miss you. Such great information like how to go around the line/crowd at customer service desk, free breakfast at java and free sauna down by spa this is great because NO OTHER VIDEOS I have watched give this in deepth insight and tips on things so really grateful for that. Deck 5 you didn't mention chef's table which we are going to do for the first time, super excited and I love the live shows which to me is where you get your bang for your buck. Thank you again.
Thank you for watching! We always try to cover the parts of the ship that are easily overlooked. Sorry for skipping over the Chef’s Table, it’s in a very unique spot and definitely shouldn’t be missed. We hope you have an amazing sailing filled with wonderful memories!
Great video and thank you for comparing the 3 sister ships, it helps a lot! That is wonderful that you will get to experience the Jubilee on her inaugural, looking forward to videos! We will be on her in February, and our first time on an Excel class ship so we are definitely looking forward to it! Safe travels!
Oh wow! The Excel class is just so different than the other ships in Carnival’s fleet. We’re excited to get to check out this third addition!
Do you know if you have to be on any time dining to eat at the speciality restaurants for no additional cost?
You can participate in any of the dining times on the Carnival Jubilee, you will just need to make reservations for dinner during your allotted dining time. It's the one down-side to having late dining is you have to wait until dinner service begins for your group to be able to dine. And just to clarify, during the inaugural season, the included eateries include: Cucina del Capitano, Guy's Pig and Anchor | Smokehouse and Brewhouse, and Chibang!
@@thiscruiselifegreat, thank you! I had asked someone else before, and I think their answer was dependent upon late dining time. Luckily we have had our cruise on the jubilee booked for a while, so we have early.
@@oliviae9659 Perfect! You should be all set for a great cruise!
We are on the Jubilee inaugural, and boy, can we not wait. We were booked on the Mardi Gras 2nd sailing, but it was obviously canceled, so we went 18 Mo later. We can't wait to be among the first on a new ship.
Having sailed Carnival Venezia inaugural, I'm now HOOKED! Not everything will be perfect, that's something that we always tell folks to keep in mind - but that's part of being the very first people EVER to experience the ship. Some of our followers have said they would never do an inaugural again, and I'm just the opposite; I want to do them all! LOL ... Look forward to seeing you on Jubilee!
l , I’m going on one Nov2-Nov9 and it’s jubilee😊🎉
You're going to love it!
We will be on the Jubilee in March and May!!! Yee Haw
A double-whammy booking! Love it! Looking forward to the debut of this beauty!
@@thiscruiselife We have an Excel suite in March super excited
@@smurphy7266Oh that's really exciting!
On the 12/30. Jubilee
Aww. We’ll miss you by one week! We’ll try to save some of the “new ship smell” for you. 😜
Which is the embarkation deck?
When embarking the ship in Galveston, it will most likely be deck 6, which is the lower deck of the Grand Central atrium. While visiting ports, most likely the embarkation point will be from deck 3, which is also where the medical center is located. This is all based on our experience with sailing on the Mardi Gras and Carnival Celebration.
Currently going on the inaugural here in just a few days, these are helping me manage my excitement loil! going to be amazing!
Oh yay! So excited for you and with you! We're really looking forward to exploring the new sections of the ship. If she's anything like the Mardi Gras or Carnival Celebration, we'll be in for a great treat come Saturday!!!
Thanks guys. I will be on her I. Jan 2025 for my husbands 65th bday in a Havana Cabanna. Your right Bonsi eateries are the best🫶🏼🫶🏼🛳🛳
Those Havana Cabanas are gorgeous! Such a beautiful part of the ship. We’re certain you’ll enjoy your sailing!
@@thiscruiselife yes our fav on the Vista Class and I hope the Terezza area on Firenze is just as good
@@marcybucy183 oh, it is! Don’t miss our video tour of a Terrazza Cabana from the Carnival Venezia. Absolutely gorgeous with the rich colors they use.
We’re on the jubilee inaugural! Cannot wait, thanks for the video and tips
So excited for the upcoming sailing! We’re just counting down the days!
Gosh, you two sure are very knowledgeable. So glad I stumbled upon your channel! I will be sailing the Jubilee in April. I’m the 5th (solo) wheel in our cruise group. My Parents, Sis and Brother in law. We are so excited to experience a new ship. Y’all seem like so much fun! I’m looking forward to learning more tips from you. You pointed out a beautiful area, a pool, and salad bar on a higher deck, I think…? I definitely MUST go look for this!
You’re going to have so much fun! Hopefully you get your own stateroom given the travel party. Stay tuned to the channel for more Jubilee details as we set sail!
Awesome video thanks guys, you guys have me so excited. I'll be cruising on the Jubilee on March 2, 2024 cant wait 😊
Thank you so much for watching! Stay tuned for more content in the coming weeks as we get on board.
Thank you for the video! This is the next ship we are considering taking.😊
Carnival Jubilee definitely looks like there will be plenty of things to do on board. We're really excited to check her out in less than one month!
I loved the celebration!! Can’t wait to sail the jubilee in July!
She’ll be like a familiar old friend!
Wonderfully detailed. Thanks
Thank you for watching!
This is not the inside look people are looking for
Don’t worry: we’ll be on board in less than two weeks for the inaugural to give you insight into all the amazing things the Carnival Jubilee has to offer. Be sure to ring that notification bell so you’ll know when posts go out. Thanks for tuning in!
Should be absolutely ashamed, misleading people. Should in NO WAY say jubilee ship tour or detailed look. VIEWER BEWARE, DOES NOT SHOW THE JUBILEE SO DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME!!!
Hey there! The ship isn’t out yet; we actually jump on her in just 3 days where we’ll be sharing a first look for you! Just like other ship previews we do, we are very clear in the first sentence of the description and also open the video up with the fact that we leverage photos and videos from sister ships while we await the inaugural sailing.
Sorry that you felt misled; that’s actually the opposite of what we go for and why we’re very clear up front and in the description. Hopefully you’ll tune in this weekend where we’ll be live from the ship on embarkation day and will be sharing a first look at Carnival Jubilee! -Mark
Wow. Way to clickbait. Reminder to never click on your videos again.
Hey there! We've done a variety of ship tours like this for people exploring what the new ship will look like (check out Carnival Venezia and Carnival Firenze on our channel if interested). We make it a point to be very clear in the first line of the description as well as speak to the timing of the ship launch at the very start of the video as we definitely are not looking to be click-baity (you can confirm that with just a quick scroll through the channel).
Hopefully this clarifies it for you and you'll be back in the future! -Mark
Some people are just bitter and grumpy.
