- This episode we go back to our original style of decluttering when I gave a narrative of each individual item. After seeing many messages of how you miss that style, I think it’s best to start adjusting our video styles! I appreciate all your advice and feedback to help us grow our channel to help more people!!!

Don't worry too much about all of us and what we think about how you produce videos. Keep up your decluttering because YOU enjoy the work and progress. We'll be here no matter what.
Thank you for being so sweet and understanding ❤️🙏🏼❤️🙏🏼❤️ I definitely will but also want to use the style of videos that help people better too 🦄💜🌟🙏🏼
I agree 👍 ❤
For sure 😊
Exactly. I’m sure your long time subs will support you. Especially knowing that you get physically sick from talking in the basement.
yes! This! You cant please everyone. buuut i like you commenting on everything and i can keep up better whats gonna ge tossed and whats not
I like both ways! Why not alternate them. And do what you want. As long as you are making progress, that’s what matters. ❤
You are so so sweet and kind!!! Thank you so so much 🙏🏼🦄💜🌟
I'm one of the commenters from the last video, and i really appreciate your responsiveness! I definitely find this type of video more engaging and satisfying. However, your health (both mental and physical) definitely comes first. We'll support you whatever you choose to do! Thanks all the same for listening to feedback. 🦄
Yes I didn’t realize this was the type of video I was missing! Thank you 😊
I hope you like it and it helps you more with your Decluttering too ❤️🙏🏼❤️🙏🏼❤️
Me too! I've been watching for years and I noticed my interest had been waning as of late... this is what originally captured my attention!
I love all your videos no matter how you do them 😊❤️
Hearing what the tossytossys are , is a guilty pleasure haha
I really enjoyed this - thank you! I'm not a hoarder but I have plenty to declutter and organise. When I hear you talking through the items, it inspires me to go through my own stuff. You've done so much work (internal and external)!🎉🌟💖
I would love longer videos!
Me too!
Do what you want❤
I'm so shocked. 5 years? How have we been on this journey for 5 years? You definitely win the persistence medal!
lol!!! I know right!!!!! I’m not giving up anytime soon too!! I mean, we’re a lot closer to the finish line now!!
Long time from day one!?
This type of video makes me feel less shame about my emotional attachment to items and about how much thought and emotional energy I put into any decluttering. It encourages me to keep going. Thank you for sharing your journey!
I love this format, when you narrate the pieces you find as you find them. For the dust, I have found that an air filter fan helps me when I am decluttering.
Yessss, I think it’s time to invest in one for downstairs! Thank you so much my friend 🦄💜🙏🏼🌟
I love seeing Pepper.
I have no hoarding tendencies, I mainly watch your videos because I am in awe of your ability to work through your hardships and make a lasting change in your life. It is very inspiring!
Me too! I don’t have hoarding disorder, but I do have ADHD and have my share of struggles. I too love hearing how you work through things. I too find it very inspiring! positivity and perseverance. Patience and listening to your heart.
Yes! I like hearing you talk briefly about what you are keeping and what is being decluttered!
You have no idea how much your videos have helped me! I pass your wisdom on! Let’s all give ourselves grace ❤ thank you
Yes! This is the style of video i really enjoy! Loving that you are getting to the micro organizing stage. Cant wait until you create your crafting section in the basement!💛
Thanks for doing this style of video again. It reminds me of what items I need to go through. My daughter had that poster with all the colors back in 2004. Today I'm going to tackle the craft supplies that I have had stored for a decade.
I also missed this type of video. I love to watch people declutter and see what items they have in their home and hear why they have them. It's such an interesting window into another person's life, values, etc. So many decluttering videos are of influencers getting rid of make-up or other products they were sent for free and possibly never even used, or clothes they've used in lots of videos so they no longer want them. It's rare to find someone like you who has items that have been genuinely collected through everyday living, have real feelings about, and are letting go of them for personal reason. I love decluttering and helping friends and families straighten their houses, and i feel like your videos have helped me be more compassionate and understanding with others.
I've loved all your videos over the years, in both formats, but I'd love to see more like this mixed in again.
Good job❣️
Thank you! It's honestly really helpful to see you declutter and think in real time to model for our own decluttering sessions
I enjoy both styles…as long as Miss Pepper is in them! I love her so much! ❤
I also enjoy this type of video a little more than the narration. I think the reason for me is because this way it feels more like I am there with you, by your side cheering you on as you explain the items to me personally. So we are in a way together as friends when you declutter. With narration it feels more like I am just watching from the side and not actually involved in the process. Sorry English is not my language so I hope you understand what I mean 😂 just trying to make sense why I think so many people like this version of videos better 😊 but I truly enjoy all of your videos very much so whatever is best for you is absolutley okay!
Your English is absolutely beautiful and you explained it perfectly!! This makes so much sense why this style is preferred!! I will continue this way ❤️🙏🏼❤️
I'm a hoarder, and I really liked the videos where you talked about the root of the problem. I have physical pain when I declutter. I need to remember that I'm not throwing my loved one away. My grandmom isn't the object. The object isn't my memory. This kind of video is awesome too. I still have diaper boxes from 10 years ago when the kids were little. I can let them go!
I enjoy seeing your tossy tossy piles and watching you sweep the cleared space. :)
Great declutter as always
I hadn't really noticed that I was curious about your frame of mind while going through a box....but it was very instructional to watch your process. You do you...but I enjoyed the detail of this one. (OMG, paper...paper is the bane of my existence as well, and takes a lot of bandwidth. Soooo many decisions in a box of papers!)
May I just mention that your voice has such a pleasant cadence to it in this - I could listen on repeat. It is like having a friend talk me through my own decluttering. Thanks for sharing what you do.
My mom walked by me when I listened to one of these vids and she hated the voice. We are not English, but she said: it sounds like she's talking to little kids all the time!! - I had to laugh because my mom is a teacher for toddlers.. so maybe that's why the association went there.
yes, i missed this style too. i don't have the emotional/trauma, i just enjoy watching it, so i like this style better. however, I hope your knowledge helps others who do need it.
Thank you so much my friend! I can make those videos into separate pieces explaining the root of the hoarding
Hi, you can always record without saying anything when you are in the basement. Keeping in mind the theme you are going for. Later, you can do a voice-over of what you want to touch upon. Until the basement is dust free, you can not talk and decclutter at the same time. It's not fair for you. By doing this, you make people happy and yourself happy. I don't mind either way. All I want to see is your progress and hear the reason behind it because I can relate, and it will help me understand the why of my hoarding.
I agree with this sentiment! I like knowing the ‘why’s’ but also like hearing your voiceovers. It seems to me you accomplish both by adding notes to the video as you work and have the voiceover talking about the big picture. That accomplishes both goals I think. But in the end, this is YOUR project and your health. I’ll watch your videos regardless. Hugs!
Great decluttering session!! ❤❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
I like to hear your thought process while decluttering. It helps my inner voice stronger.
Love seeing Ms Pepper...too.
I love these videos so much more!!!
Thank you for letting me know ❤️🙏🏼❤️ I’ll definitely continue to use this style of video 🌟🌟
Me too!! I feel confused with the other style, it's difficult to process the words and the visuals together for me @@ahoardersheart
Your doing amazing
I loved this video, but not at the expense of your health!
I agree. Surely you can still voice over, just a mix of the old and new. Talk through it on the voice over.
I much prefer this style of video! While i am so happy that you're addressing your root causes of hoarding, and sharing that with others (which is so kind of you to do) i just want decluttering and how you declutter, as opposed to *why*. I can also appreciate that others may get more from the more emotional videos. I say make what you want, and maybe mark them differently like "talking through hoarding trauma" and "decluttering process". Those are awful ways to describe it, but I'm sure you get what i mean.
Luv it, Great job
Pepper is so cute. She keeps you company while you declutter.
She is the best little decluttering manager right next to me 💜🦄🌟🙏🏼
I am a pepper fan too, she's beautiful and very attached to her humans
I love the voice overs.
I had wandered away from the channel when the videos changed. This is my favorite style video.
Can I say that I see how much progress you made not to be so attached to objects? Whenever I watch a video of yours lately, I feel it is easier for you to toss stuff you don't need! Also, that dress suits you so well, it is giving countryside vibes and I love it!
Love your videos Ms.Heart. I dunno if it would work for you, but I keep stickers in accordian files. Especially if you have a bunch of categories. ❤
While i love this style of videos more, I understand that explaining each item means it'll take you longer to declutter. Will support you no matter what style of video you produce!
Please be well while doing this. If it’s not safe, put a mask on. A voiceover is fine.
Btw: that dress looks amazing on you!!
From dancing queen to decluttering queen 😊
As long as Miss Pepper is in it, I'm happy! Great video, as always ❤
We do get your comedic side when you film like this and I’m living for it 😊
***My basement used to always make me sick. I bought a box fan and then of good filter that fit over the box fan. Turn on the fan and put the filter on the side that sucks in the air. Make sure the filters little arrow is pointing the direction of the air coming out. If that makes sense, you’ll be surprised how much dust and mold it collects! Make sure to buy filter filters mold! Hope this works for you❤
😮 I REMEMBER SOME OF THOSE 90'S STICKERS!!! Those were the best 💜💜💜🥺
Great job! 🩵
Loved you doing this style but I totally get that you need to do things different ways. Thank you for continuing to share with us!
"Paper is the bane of my existence" you voice inflection was so happy it caught me so off guard i almost spit out my coffee hahaha you are hilarious 😂
😂😂😂 I’m sorry girl but I hope you enjoyed your coffee ☕️
That dress is so cute on you!! So pretty.
You are amazing! I enjoy both kinds of narrating! I would also love to see videos with you crafting! You’re so talented! ❤
Love this style of video - thank you for sharing your journey with us.
Loved the narration. I would have liked to see one or two more boxes done. Need my Friday motivation
Yes. Please, longer videos.
Thank you so much my friend ❤️🙏🏼❤️ I’m still adjusting to going back to this style…it takes longer to go through stuff this way and my iPhone can only handle 12 minute videos, but I’m upgrading soon!!
It took me 5 years to declutter my hoard too 💜
Off topic, but that dress is really cute on you. Have a great weekend Ms Heart & Ms Pepper!
That dress is super cute!
For Christmas my husband got me a power tool style hot glue gun it is the same batteries as his power tool and it's amazing.... You just switch it on wait a little bit and you can use it for a long time with no cords definitely a good investment for Crafters
Great content
I love this video format for your basement decluttering videos ❤
Ms Heat, 💛 I was wondering if you have noticed that you seem to be moving more fully into the organisation stage in your basement now and doing far less actual decluttering. I think this proves the amount of progress you have made. 🌞
Dear Ms Heart, thank you so much, I was absolutely happy to see this style of video!!! ❤❤❤ 🎉
😊🦄
I can only image when you are ready to let go of more craft material, the schools in your area would love those craft supplies!
It takes a lot of courage to put yourself in a vulnerable position the way you have. Do what you feel most comfortable doing, do it your way that best fits your needs, don't dwell on the negativity or ignorance of anybody else. Everyone is different. I get very overstimulated easily bc of my anxiety,,ocpd & ptsd so its very hard for me to focus, but I do block out negativity that I dont have any use for. I commend you for posting & taking the time, energy & effort to share your journey. It really helps someone like me, thank you for sharing☆☆♡🫶🏼
Pepper always brighten up your videos even if just snozing on a backpack. ❤❤❤
lol!! She just brings so much joy just being her 😻❤️😻❤️
I like both styles. But for the more KonMari ones I prefer the talk about the items, while when it is more update/reset videos I appriciate hearing about the mental struggles and how to progress. :)
Also, yay, ribbon! 😂
You are amazingly creative! You go girl!
This was so much fun! I liked your item by item story telling because it feels like I'm sitting right next to you. I also like your voice-over style too where you get at the root of the emotion. Because I also believe that for us to truly heal, we need to go for the root. So maybe mix and match depending on how you are feeling.
Yes like these videos. The explanations helps.
I love both styles of decluttering videos - the ones where you discuss each item and why you are letting it go or keeping it and the ones where you talk about mental health, trauma and hoarding disorder. I am in awe of your work ethic. You keep at it week after week and keep making your basement (and the rest of the house and yard) better and better. You have come so far! If the dust bothers you, I would suggest a portable air filtration system or wear a mask. Your lung health is more important than us. Do what works for you.
I am a paper toucher too.
I take my Grandson's school work and place it like a collage on a table I take a index card and write his name and grade that they were done in and then take a picture from above. Once I get the printed picture back I put it in his album for the grade/school year he was in. (I usually get a sample of handwriting, math skill, Art Project(s), etc.). When the picture is in the album, the papers are tossed. He is 15 now, and I saved everything from when he was in my child care so you can imagine that is is a project. I am so happy that I am doing this project for him! It means a lot to me! By the way, I am also doing this for my children who are in their 40's...because I kept everything. I get to keep the memories for them and not the faded papers. I hope that this idea might help you and others.
I am happy to watch whatever you produce. I have been enlightened on hoarding and those who suffer from that issue by your more in-depth conversations about it. So would appreciate if you continued to include that sort of content. Looking forward to the day you can set up your crafting nook or room and show us some good crafting projects.
Thank you so much my friend ❤️🙏🏼❤️ I’m definitely going to share those insights in different video
I miss this style of video too! i like the idea of splitting both styles up into separate videos!!! ❤️❤️❤️
Im so happy everytime you come up with another video. lots of greetings from germany! i love you content and your whole personality as far you show it.
Sue Wolfe- It's great to see your progress in the basement. Now that you're eliminating bins, have you considered getting rid of the cardboard boxes and putting the items into the plastic containers? I've found that cardboard attracts bugs...yuck! I love this new format, but do whatever is healthy for you! 👍💪❤️❤️
Yes!! I think that is a good idea!! I have been taking the trash out in those old cardboard bins too!!
Sticker bins are a must in decluttering. ☺️
Not the 2012 newsletter!!! Lol, love you, you rock! So proud of you!!!
I like either style but would love to see much longer videos.
Love Your videos because of YOU... Do what YOU need to do... We'll be here for the inspiration as always!
The paper!! When I think that I have dealt with the old paper clutter, I find more of it! 😂
Great video, but I like the other style, too - please do whatever is fastest and easiest for you! If the dusty basement makes you cough for days, definitely wear an N95 mask and do voiceovers! Or would you ever want to take a few bins out on the patio and work outside, if it’s not too windy? All the best as you move toward creating your own crafting zone! 🦄🧵🧶🥳
I have so many craft and sewing supplies!! I hoard them like a dragon, keeping the best ones for "Some day..." i need to unlock this attachment and use or let go. I'm 63 and don't have that many years left...some things I've saved for 20 or 30 or more years!! Thanks for sharing your thought processes!! Your videos are starting to sink in and help me let go.
Thanks for getting back to this style, so much more satisfying ❤❤❤❤
I enjoy all of your videos. I do find that this type does help me see your decision making skills and helps encourage me a lot and helps me grow in my decision making. I grew up with hoarder parents and grandparents. My dad is definitely the highest level hoarder you can be. I am trying to help my mom know that it’s ok to let things go. I am able to help her some when my dad doesn’t interfere. I have to tell him it’s her things and she can make decisions on them. I have found him going thru the trash bags after I leave. I have to sneak a lot of it to my house and throw it away there, sadly. His hoarding really depresses my mom and she is having walking issues and I am trying to constantly go to their house and make paths so she doesn’t hit her feet against things. Thanks for your videos. They definitely help people ❤❤❤
This is the third time watching this and I noticed you had some of Brandon's old Christmas items made on construction paper and you put them in the "tossy tossy" pile, in the past, you might have had to end there and would have placed it with his sentimental items. You now know that you have lots of his arts and crafts. Such a transformation. also recall when you went over every item in the Laundry room episodes you still hid your identity. But now you show your face. Your progress is tremendous in this five (5) years and you give us all inspiration to face our challenges. Best wishes!!!
Please mind yourself if it’s dusty in the basement. Well done on all you went through and got rid of and sorted. Having so many bins sorted already is making it so much easier to put away. Miss Pepper needed a break from supervising. Have a great week. Mary, Joes wife 🙇♀️👏💪👍🙏💐🐈
Great video Miss Heart! I love this style! Thanks! ❤️
I feel like you do touch on the deeper things about trauma, grief over passed children milestones, desire to be eco-friendly in this style, too, and it's helpful for me for articulating to myself what I'm thinking about when I'm struggling to declutter particular items.
Just last night I picked up an empty coffee container from a neighbor in my Buy Nothing group hahaha!
I have horses and the large plastic Folgers containers are the perfect thing to pre portion their grain and supplements because the lids are relatively airtight but still easy to remove.
In the past I would have bought them myself even though it's not my preferred coffee, but there's so much abundance in the community when we reach out and ask for it.
Omg! How aligned is that?!! lol I LOVE IT!!!!
♥️❤️🩷 loved this video and style. Love from Ireland. 🇮🇪
I love watching you go through and talk about your thoughts! I also love watching you put the items where they go. But I miss watching you actually throw away the tossy tossy stuff😅
Great video!!! 🥰
July 2024. I just tossed a bunch of papers in the recycling bin. I am going through some of my craft supplies and I realize that I have some that aren't nice enough to donate. I also have some beads to give away to local crafters. I make paper beads and only use a few wooden or plastic beads. Tina, Al's wife
Must say that that dress if flattering your body perfectly 😊
I cant wait to see you do a "Kon Mari" style declutter on your craft bins. I def prefer this type of video. Although I understand the need to discuss the reasoning, I found that you were repeating the same things over and over about your "trauma". It was really great seeing the old style declutter again
I like this style better, thankyou x
I enjoy both types of videos!
