Listen to Jake! I paid the price in round 1 a few years back because I didn’t fill the queue. I lost internet connection and it auto selected the wrong RB. Had I get the one I targeted I would have won the entire season. Great advice.
Another tip use. Since my league draft order is given out 30 minutes before the draft, i make sure to Mock drafts from every area of the draft order. The first few picks, the middle picks and the last few.

Filling the queue is a great tip. I've been doing that for years, but for a totally different reason. I draft for tournaments on several sportsbooks, and at all times day and night, and most of the time I'm using my phone to do it. At least once or twice a season I will lose my connection, and will miss serval picks before I can get back in. The autopick will pick from your queue instead of just picking the next available player. That's always a plus.
Never understood why some managers weigh the bye weeks so much. I completely agree with what you said. I set limits on specific positions to keep managers from stockpiling. I try to keep the league super competitive... we're getting closer and closer! Greetings from TeXas.

These are great little reminders for getting prepared for draft day. I’d have to say my favorite is the “Be the first one there in the draft room” along with “No auto-picking.” It happens too many times when you got managers showing up last minute or auto-drafting and then when they finalize their teams and look at them afterwards, they’re not content and lose all motivation throughout the season to even try. Position depth is key. Where is the end of the top tier RBs at? WRs? Where are WRs and RB stacked in the draft? At pick 25 can I get a top tier WR or RB still?
Great tips. I would add, take advantage of mock drafts. I'm constantly making stupid mistakes. Accidentally triple stacked Allen, Diggs, and Davis last year.

I do have a tendency to pay attention to bye weeks, only because our league is a little bit different. We have a 10-team league that we draft 30 players each. They all have to be the same position for position. 3 qb, 5 rb 5 wr 2 te 2 k 4 dl 5lb 4db. You are only allowed 1 free agent pickup per week and no free agent pickups or trades during the playoffs. Trades must be position for position. It sounds difficult, but I prefer to standard leagues I've played in because you really have to do your homework on all positions both offense. and defense
FILL THE QUEUE the BEST advice. You get such a better picture of how the draft is falling. Yes min 100 players ranked AND at the bottom of the list rank Defenses and kickers if you use them. Why not?

I think being able to Pivot using the Queue, by pivot I mean let’s say you don’t like Drafting Mahomes in 3rd round but if he falls to the 4th pivot to pick him, also your Guys might get sniped and Be prepared. Awesome way to explain in detail what I mainly do when I draft, the only ONLY thing I do differently, and I’m sure there are those will disagree, is I like having 2 defenses on my roster, because one big waiver wire target is typically the defense that plays recently/historically the Texans or other poor offenses, many times with a back up quarterback. Having Baltimore for week one and drafting a solid round 15 defense for week two will keep you ahead of getting stuck with, a good defense against a high scoring opponent from time to time I wouldn’t take San Francisco Defense any higher than around 14 but at least three defenses will be taken by that time. You can get weak ahead defenses in free agency.
This fantasy football stuff just takes me back to school and test day..I can do all the research I want but once that timer starts, my mind goes blank and it’s just a big ol mud hole…hopefully this queue tip helps…I’m definitely gonna try it

Great work fellow jakub! I love when people pickup extra defenses, kickers and QBs. QBS/Kickers/Ds are soo random, one good week, you cant trade em. But now you dont want to drop them off of one good week. Let me get the boom/bust WR/RB late rounds. One good week could be tradeable, (or flexable), if they dont perform afterwards you dont feel bad dropping vs the others. Gimme the WR/RB late rounds all day.
Solid tips to keep in mind. Loading your players into queue is a gem because someone is guaranteed to panic when the shot clock starts beeping
