cosworth is a race tuning company, its a ford sierra/merkur when you buy it and its rwd i believe. a cosworth sierra is a highly tuned sierra for racing/rally...

Over 15,000 factory Sierra Cosworths were produced.
About 5,000 of each type:
First in 3dr./RS500 RWD 204/224 bhp
Then '88-'90 Sapphire RWD 204bhp
'90-'92 Sapphire 4WD (this one) 220bhp
This car has well over 500bhp
Cosworth only designed the engines but Ford themselves uprated most of the car's components

the 4wd for rally/wrc and the rwd for 2wd rally, there once was cosworth engines, but in 2007 they just stopped making them. why why should this happen
