Love how the scene alone describes Vegeta's fighting style : technique, ruthless, adaptative, and highly versatile. Man calms his anger in seconds (which he was unable to few years ago) to transform into Super Saiyan God when he feels Broly's powering up too fast for regular Super Saiyan. He is still our stubborn prince, but with a huge experience that helps him now.

For real, I've said this before but the Freiza saga in DBZ, which let's face it is the most awesome, is actually about Vegeta. Even the first sayain saga of DBZ is nothing without Vegeta.
I have a lot of respect for That Vegeta (Freiza and Sayjin saga). He had to come a long ways to get where he is. Vegeta is an offensive powerhouse….his biggest weakness is that he has the fighting depth of his actual size. He’s gotta plan and outskill his opponents cuz after he takes a few hits his confidence drops and he’s very quickly the underdog. Meanwhile, even tho Goku gets tons of asspulls, he can take a good amount fighting and keep getting back into it. The Buu saga was a good example. We know Vegeta was at least SSj2 Goku level during that fight, but his confidence was so shot that he became useless during the fight with Kid Buu. Meanwhile Goku went out there with that dancing acrobatic SSj2 and made a good showing before going to SSj3.
The animation portrays the characters so well. Vegeta technically subclassing broly while broly just coming at him again and again with no regard for strategy is just pure fire.
These are supposed to be the 2 strongest Saiyans from birth with a battle IQ to match. Base Broly's power makes his multiplier insanely high, but Vegeta also being powerful, with the use of Many multipliers, should have had the strength to beat him in the end, logically. He's not as low as Goku.
@@hawashiamarunaga9917 yes but according to toryama this broly is sort of the reincarnation of the legendary supersaiyan so his multipliers act a lot quicker and the more he fights the more his power exponentially increases. I really love the aesthetics of this Broly; in my opinion if only the authors knew how to better manage the potential of DRAGONBALL, we would probably now also have a film on the story of Yamoshi
The reason this looks so good is because it’s an animated MOVIE; normal anime tv shows use 24 fps with most of the action taking place at 8 to 12 fps. There’s normally less movement in Japanese animation than in western cartoons, but you occasionally see fight scenes and the like animated at a higher fps to make these elaborate scenes look more clean and smooth. When you see this in anime tv shows it’s called “Sakuga” and the reason it’s common to see these more fluid, stylized animations in movies is because there is more time and more money involved in animating films. The artist can add more frames to make it a higher fps and take more time getting the scenes to look right, versus an artist working on an anime tv series who is on a much tighter schedule and under more pressure to get things done on time.
123answeriss that’s all well and good, but the STYLE of this MOVIE would still not be possible under the budgetary and time constraints of the dbs TV series, which is the point I’m trying to make
The SSG transformation was perfect. The movie really emphasised that it's more than just a power up, it's a state of mind as well. The ToP portrayal of the transformation was way to generic

vegeta canonically achieved the super saiyan god form on his own, without the ritual they used for goku. Really just goes to show that he is a fighting genius and not just all talk

I really love the aesthetics of this Broly; in my opinion if only the authors knew how to better manage the potential of DRAGONBALL, we would probably now also have a film on the story of Yamoshi
Vegeta’s fighting style is so amazing. All
His moves are connected and just flow like water.
TOEI should invest in this marvelous style for the next animated arcs of this serie. It could be a mayor hit in the anime history.
Toei would be broke lol
@Isaac am. the animation in Resurrected MOVIE was terrible because of STYLE, even after investing in human resources :)
This is a goddamn movie.

SSG isn't a state if mind you fucking idiot, it was never stated or hinted.
@@brolybanderas42 but it was, several times actually, in its thin design, its combat style of reacting and countering, even its techniques and Goku's and Vegeta's facial expressions during it

This is where Vegeta's years of constant training pay off. Despite Broly's constant adaptation, Vegeta was able to block or counter it all. 💪

I may adore Broly, but this film truly gave the right treatment and RESPECT Vegeta deserved since the T.O.P saga.🔥
It was definitely worth watching on the big screen, especially with this the GORGEOUS fluid animation.
After years of taking a back seat, it was good to see him holding his own.
M Rosé Um, vegeta has already been getting the respect he deserved. He literally defeated a God of destruction. On top of that he gained a new form that is unique to him. I'd say he's already gotten that respect.
TR Deal he beated a pre god. Toppo was in the transition of becoming a god
That's the problem with screenings of movies like this. People who can't contain themselves
@@curryposterizeslewashedjam3588 And? The fact that vegeta even beat a G.O.D canidate in itself is already an achievement. That man has been getting the respect a long time ago.
変身シーンがひとつひとつ凝ってるのもこの映画の魅力のひとつだったな

It’s animated by animator Yuya Takehashi! He did a lot of fairy tail and some scenes in DBS! So he is very good! Search his name up and you can see all that he has done!

20 years and they can still make that transformation beautifully relevant.
I recently bought this movie on Blu-ray and the fight scenes are just fantastic. The best I've ever seen on an anime.

you think so? in my opinion too many cuts and it is just too chaotic. A little less "camera-movement" and more focus on what is actually happening would be way better.

Broly still normie and vegetables transformed twice though haha
I love that they went back to a more DBZ 90's art style. I've missed it.
Also, I love that detail where as Vegeta starts to turn SSJ, he's so much stronger than Broly that he can't even escape. I mean, it would be jarring having someone get 50 times stronger in an instant lol.
I think super saiyan should have had bigger effect than it had. To go 50 times faster, stronger, and more powerful in a second should have at least temporarily overwhelmed Broly a bit longer than it did.
I love how Vegeta's fighting style is still very technical ,but its a lot more loose and calm now cause of Whis's training.
Man, this movie has some of my favorite fights in Dragon Ball.
