Jesus christ. I was thinking of getting into breeding a bit, but thats a LOT of pansun!! Maybe if I get bored in the endgame... For now I'll stick just be a filthy casual
So a couple things that are helpful. If you're breeding for eggmoves, the best place to insert the egg move is into the speed + attack tem. Get a male with the egg move with either speed or attack, and breed it with a female of the tem you're breeding. This will give you a speed and attack + egg move with 6 fert (this step breeds with a 5 fert so if you get wrong gender you get two tries from your speed + attack egg move tem). I'd advice doing one line first because if you get a female you can sometimes raise a different tem with higher male rates to help with getting gender screwed although you will have to farm for the SVs. For male rates Water: Nessla 70%, Fire Raiber 85%, Melee smazee 65%(Doesn't really matter atm), Crystal: Occlura 60%, Toxic: Blooze 65%. Nessla can be a bit difficult because of it's low encounter rate. You'd at the least want to find or buy a female with speed.
@@hydrogehtab i breed a 5 stat perfect adoroboros with the spakt at 45 and Atk at 21, i gave up there because it was the best temtem i breed and has 0 fertility by now XD I must have messed up somwhere, because i kept only getting females to, i was forced to go get some male ones again XD
As someone who found himself spending way more time breeding Pokémon than battling with them, I'm really looking forward to the increased complexity of breeding. All these comments talking about how hard and frustrating it can be are making Temtem breeding sound all the more fun to me 😅

It will make you audio way cleaner because there are no "wind noises" on p and b sounds. Other than that, keep doing what you are doing. :)
A tip for players who arent that rich. Just breed without the 5k DNA strands. If u catch alot of temtem u can breed a temtem with 40+ stats without costing it 30k. It is more reliant on luck but saves a lot of money!
This is only helpful if you don't plan on playing competitively. Getting 50SV is important since everyone else will have it, you'd be at a huge disadvantage. Additionally, you end up wasting your time by wasting 50 SV Temtem for luck breeding. Time > money.
@@catnap7579 the only sv that need to be on 50sv is speed, the rest if you have 40+ dont will make any difference, will be more about temtem choices, skills and traits
I very like the evolution system in this game because you can have a raican wild at lvl 50 with low stats than a raican at lvl 30 with best stats because this type of system, use the time you use to train your team.
Look them up on the Temtem Gamepedia, traits are listed in order on the right hand side. If the unevolved Temtem has the top trait, the evolved form will have the top trait too.
The traits go in a linear line, looking at the Wiki you will see two traits for the pre evolution and two for the evolution. The first slot will turn into the trait in the first slot that the evolution has listed. Does that help? You want Furor on Skail if you want Brawny.
Also if you didn't know, a skunch with bully will activate depending on how many temtem are alive in your squad not just if you're in a 2v1 situation which makes it a lot better than i thought initially
Nope you only need to use it on the last Temtem pairing to make sure the right trait gets passed on to the final egg from the parent holding the strand.
I haven't done this yet as I just want to play the game as is before making an actual team but yeah this is a lot of pansun for just a tem tem. I think if the breeding items where crazy expensive but were permanent items I think it would be better.

I honest to god can't think of a single reason why you'd take this risk when most Temtem sell for less then this and it wont require you to gamble on traits or spend time waiting for egg timers. Unless you want to mass-breed for profit, breeding makes no sense. Breeding a single Temtem for your team and stopping is pointless. See if the market has what you need first, if its under 60k just purchase it and save yourself the trouble. All that said thanks for the great guide
You have a good point. Some people however really enjoy breeding in this game, and like you said the offsprings can make you back your money if you know what you're doing. But for now I'd say it is cheaper overall to just buy perfect Temtem. Thanks for the support and kind words!

@@iliya1933 Rather than messing with the DNA that passes on traits I've found it much easier (and cheaper, the trait changing DNAs sell to vendors for 7k each) to just make sure you have the right traits to breed with from the beginning.

Unfortunately yes unless you believe that your Temtem has enough fertility left to complete the chain for your perfect Temtem. It is for sure the most frustrating part.
This shit right here is why in Pokémon I just went to battle tower and farmer bottle caps for perfect ivs , this game desperately needs that to balance the process.
Is there a guide on which TemTem use either SpAtt or Att? It's hard to know what direction to go without any competitive knowledge, I feel like the people who know which attacks to use know how to breed already lol.
NORMALLY, the higher the baste stat is, the direction you are aiming for. But also movepool and abilities are really important when determining a Tem specialization ( ie Nidrasil has far more atk than spatk, but thanks to his ability Tri-apotecary, there is a sp.atk variant )
hi, i'm actually XPing some fire temtems for the tihani dojo, and collecting some Deendre with 1x 50sv... Does the stats reset to random when evolving ?
Males are beneficial I'd say though if you want to use them for pairing with another Temtem different from the on you're catching. The cool thing about this game is you only need to have the same type on each Temtem for them to be a breeding pair.

I had to get a unishi or watever the fish is called and breed for a HP STA SPD Female then I combined it with my SPATK ATK SPEED fomu and hope I get a male Fomu. To combine it with my female fomu. I didnt have fomu females that had HP STA SPEED at first. They all came out to be males.

Either or, it doesnt matter as long as the stats match up between the Male and female like what I showed in the vid. So for example for Defense you need a male/female Defense SV and then depending on the gender of that you need a male/female 50 SV for Sp. Defense. Does that help?
How do you get the pansums for it tho? Like i already knew how the breeding works and everything. But getting the pansums for it is such a hassle even after releasing 100s of temtems. Like i got a 5 perfect SV Ganki at the moment, just need to do the last breeding part and then i'll have a 7 perfect SV gank, but i'm broke. Also got a whole set of magmis ready for when i have money...
Go to kakama cenote. It's where u fight max in the cave that has pinkwater around. It's in tucma if u catch and release 7 tems u get 1200 its really good
@@xpaowow The only extremely important one is speed, for the sole reason that if you are fighting dittos, having 50 (and the opponent not) will guarantee you will go first. A 30 SATK vs 50 SATK is a difference of less than 6% in terms of damage output. Take that as you will.
OMG, okay i thought it would gonna be hard to breed a good TemTem but this is crazy. For me, when i start Pokemon it doesent matter if the Pokemon i had isn´t the best, i just wanted my fav Pokemon and thats it. At TemTem it gives this little feeling in my neck, cause of the Multiplayer and the Contact and Challenging with other real Tamers, my Head says " YOU CANT CALM DOWN ON YOUR FAV TEMTEM TEAM YOU NEED TO TRAIN THEM, YOU NEED HAVE THE BEST VERSION OF THEM, TO BECOME THE BEST TEMTEM TAMER !!!!!! Atleast 42.000 for one temtem LOL. It´s so much grind to get money at this stage of the game. Every person who has a rl will wait until they add a "Pokemon-league" or something like this before getting a perfect team

Michael Babbitt yes there is a $10,000 engineering dna strand you can use to preserve the trait, it can only be with same species though, so you have two options
Kin ' so far all I’ve been able to find is that yes, it’s left up to a 50/50 roll. Hopefully they’ll add an item like Pokémon has that let’s you change it’s ability to the other available to the mon
The comments here mention the DNA item, but I think it's far FAR cheaper if you start initially with the trait you need meaning that every Tem you're breeding with has that correct trait from the start. Edit: apparently it is always random which trait you get unless you use the item, apologize for that confusion.
So I was trying to breed a perfect houchic but I messed up and didn't get a tem with a perfect stat and now I have a bunch of houchic that can do nothing more. So is perfect only considered 50 or is it also when the stat is in the green? I know that's a dumb question.
No question is a dumb question! Perfect is considered 50SV yes, Houchic is a tough one to breed perfectly right now due to it not being able to be caught in the wild.
for the people that don't have the time to grind like this, competitive is off the equation? meaning a perfect SV team is way better than a team with random SV (like someone who played only the story and reach 8 or more temtem to max lvl?
Not neccesarily, I have a feeling they are going to make it easier to make money and do this process down the road. But yes a perfect SV team will usually wipe the floor with a random SV team. But a lot of this can come down to player skill too.
Well for example on lvl 100 temtem:Base 50 atk 0 /40/ 50 sv ---- 86/ 133/ 145 If you get something like 45 its totaly fine for pvp. (139)You can always adjust more stats from tv to fix it. Extra 32 tv will fix it to 145.Unless you are going for full 500 in single stat. But then your temtem is gona have to lack something.
It isn't as terrible because you can pair those with other common tems usually when breeding ^^ but RNG on Traits and Gender when hatching eggs can be not fun.
I just breeded a 6 sv kinu for me and wanted to do more to sell it BUT nobody is buying 6 sv. Don't do this just go 7sv then u can get some money back..
maybe cause the definition of perfect in this case is best in slot and not close to best. but I get your point. I am happy enough with an all green tem tem.
I don‘t use any perfect temtem too and i‘m playing for 10 days now. Perfect temtems are not that important at this point because there is no competitive play right now. But they will be a MUST as soon as competitive play starts
If 2 temtem (one with all perfect stats and the other with 49 in every stat) battle the one with perfect stats will most likley win cause it will always attack first cause it has more speed, it will also deal slightly more damage (maybe enough to kill in 2 hits instead of 3)
@@krizzz7940 if you're only going off of those variables then yes, but in a real fight the player's decisions on what moves they attack with and if the Tem is week or strong against the other Tem also matters. The stamina management and synergy attacks as well. Perfect SVs will give you the edge but it won't carry you by any means lol
@@justinp9170 yea of course ^_^ other than speed having max probably isn't too important (maybe stamina as well seing how max stamina usually gets you just enough for 1 extra attack without using all of it) but knowing speed tiers is important, attacking first or last is and knowing beforehand when you will do so can make sure you're in control for most of the match, obviously as the meta evolves SV's will be more important than it is now, but why not just prepare with the best so you'll get used to it
Additionally, it may be profitable. Should you not get the gender you need along the way, someone may be willing to pay for such a head start. Or, if your last two have some extra fertility & you have the tem you want, the last two breeds can be pure profit. There is a whole subreddit for buying & selling tems. r/temtemtrade

it doesnt matter if its easier or cheaper. but its also more boring. I wanna play the game, i wanna play with and use my own temtem, the one i did breed myself. Its some achievment milestone and stuff. Yes you can simply buy pretty much everything in every game but wheres the fun on doing that? seriously... its a game in the end and i play games to have fun not to be as efficient as humanly possible

this is the worst "endgame" for any "MMO" ive ever played, theres fuck all to do once you reach the end of the current story except farm/breed temtem? what the actual fuck, im just pissed i cant refund my game anymore , even for early access this game is a dead end for content
Mudrids Moveset contains 6 physicalattack abilitys and 2 specialattack abilitys. Eventho his base stats are higher on specialattack it's reasonable to build him on physical attack.
@@fallandspring27 You get it! Yeah unfortunately even though Mudrid has some special attacking options it's very limited compared to the power of its physical moves.
That's something that actually annoys me like how there are no good Toxic Special Attacks and Mudrid can learn Dust Vortex through breeding which is 130 SpAtk move but we don't have the full Temtem list to breed it rn :(
So basically they need to rethink the breeding part. Spending that much money on having a good temtem is ridiculous. I want that game to be better in any part and way than pokemon. But this makes breeding in pokemon actually better and easier. I'm not that far in the game, so that I can got myself into breeding yet but man, this sucks. Waiting in real time for an egg to breed is really annoying. It is better, than walking in circles 3000 times but still there must be a better way. Something like a computer where you can give your eggs into and they breed it instantly. Also the money part is one of the worst things in that game. You earn so less with battles but you have to pay an awful lot on things. This needs to be fixed soon. Giving us more money and making everything cheaper. Btw. Dude ... thx for the video though :)

Yes the trait is a 50/50 chance however there is a DNA item you can buy for 10,000 that will guarentee a trait being passed on. Does that help?

Either or, it doesnt matter as long as the stats match up between the Male and female like what I showed in the vid. So for example for Defense you need a male/female Defense SV and then depending on the gender of that you need a male/female 50 SV for Sp. Defense. Does that help?

Go to kakama cenote. It's where u fight max in the cave that has pinkwater around. It's in tucma if u catch and release 7 tems u get 1200 its really good

That's fine for regular play, but if you're wanting to play competitive PvP, not having all 50 in important SVs will hurt you.

@@xpaowow The only extremely important one is speed, for the sole reason that if you are fighting dittos, having 50 (and the opponent not) will guarantee you will go first. A 30 SATK vs 50 SATK is a difference of less than 6% in terms of damage output. Take that as you will.

OMG, okay i thought it would gonna be hard to breed a good TemTem but this is crazy. For me, when i start Pokemon it doesent matter if the Pokemon i had isn´t the best, i just wanted my fav Pokemon and thats it. At TemTem it gives this little feeling in my neck, cause of the Multiplayer and the Contact and Challenging with other real Tamers, my Head says " YOU CANT CALM DOWN ON YOUR FAV TEMTEM TEAM YOU NEED TO TRAIN THEM, YOU NEED HAVE THE BEST VERSION OF THEM, TO BECOME THE BEST TEMTEM TAMER !!!!!! Atleast 42.000 for one temtem LOL. It´s so much grind to get money at this stage of the game. Every person who has a rl will wait until they add a "Pokemon-league" or something like this before getting a perfect team

Michael Babbitt yes there is a $10,000 engineering dna strand you can use to preserve the trait, it can only be with same species though, so you have two options

Kin ' so far all I’ve been able to find is that yes, it’s left up to a 50/50 roll. Hopefully they’ll add an item like Pokémon has that let’s you change it’s ability to the other available to the mon
The comments here mention the DNA item, but I think it's far FAR cheaper if you start initially with the trait you need meaning that every Tem you're breeding with has that correct trait from the start.
Edit: apparently it is always random which trait you get unless you use the item, apologize for that confusion.

So I was trying to breed a perfect houchic but I messed up and didn't get a tem with a perfect stat and now I have a bunch of houchic that can do nothing more. So is perfect only considered 50 or is it also when the stat is in the green? I know that's a dumb question.
No question is a dumb question! Perfect is considered 50SV yes, Houchic is a tough one to breed perfectly right now due to it not being able to be caught in the wild.

for the people that don't have the time to grind like this, competitive is off the equation? meaning a perfect SV team is way better than a team with random SV (like someone who played only the story and reach 8 or more temtem to max lvl?
Not neccesarily, I have a feeling they are going to make it easier to make money and do this process down the road. But yes a perfect SV team will usually wipe the floor with a random SV team. But a lot of this can come down to player skill too.
Well for example on lvl 100 temtem:Base 50 atk
0 /40/ 50 sv ---- 86/ 133/ 145
If you get something like 45 its totaly fine for pvp. (139)You can always adjust more stats from tv to fix it. Extra 32 tv will fix it to 145.Unless you are going for full 500 in single stat. But then your temtem is gona have to lack something.

It isn't as terrible because you can pair those with other common tems usually when breeding ^^ but RNG on Traits and Gender when hatching eggs can be not fun.
I just breeded a 6 sv kinu for me and wanted to do more to sell it BUT nobody is buying 6 sv. Don't do this just go 7sv then u can get some money back..

I don‘t use any perfect temtem too and i‘m playing for 10 days now. Perfect temtems are not that important at this point because there is no competitive play right now. But they will be a MUST as soon as competitive play starts
If 2 temtem (one with all perfect stats and the other with 49 in every stat) battle the one with perfect stats will most likley win cause it will always attack first cause it has more speed, it will also deal slightly more damage (maybe enough to kill in 2 hits instead of 3)
@@krizzz7940 if you're only going off of those variables then yes, but in a real fight the player's decisions on what moves they attack with and if the Tem is week or strong against the other Tem also matters. The stamina management and synergy attacks as well.
Perfect SVs will give you the edge but it won't carry you by any means lol
@@justinp9170 yea of course ^_^ other than speed having max probably isn't too important (maybe stamina as well seing how max stamina usually gets you just enough for 1 extra attack without using all of it)
but knowing speed tiers is important, attacking first or last is and knowing beforehand when you will do so can make sure you're in control for most of the match,
obviously as the meta evolves SV's will be more important than it is now, but why not just prepare with the best so you'll get used to it

If no one breeds then no one would be able to get perfect Temtem for competitive. Plus it's satisfying to breed a perfect Temtem too.
Additionally, it may be profitable. Should you not get the gender you need along the way, someone may be willing to pay for such a head start. Or, if your last two have some extra fertility & you have the tem you want, the last two breeds can be pure profit. There is a whole subreddit for buying & selling tems. r/temtemtrade

Its some achievment milestone and stuff. Yes you can simply buy pretty much everything in every game but wheres the fun on doing that? seriously... its a game in the end and i play games to have fun not to be as efficient as humanly possible

the funny thing about this video, is that he breeds a bunbun without spatk and Bunbun/mudrid is a spatk user not an atk user KEKW
Mudrids Moveset contains 6 physicalattack abilitys and 2 specialattack abilitys. Eventho his base stats are higher on specialattack it's reasonable to build him on physical attack.
@@fallandspring27 You get it! Yeah unfortunately even though Mudrid has some special attacking options it's very limited compared to the power of its physical moves.
That's something that actually annoys me like how there are no good Toxic Special Attacks and Mudrid can learn Dust Vortex through breeding which is 130 SpAtk move but we don't have the full Temtem list to breed it rn :(
So basically they need to rethink the breeding part. Spending that much money on having a good temtem is ridiculous.
I want that game to be better in any part and way than pokemon. But this makes breeding in pokemon actually better and easier.
I'm not that far in the game, so that I can got myself into breeding yet but man, this sucks.
Waiting in real time for an egg to breed is really annoying. It is better, than walking in circles 3000 times but still there must be a better way. Something like a computer where you can give your eggs into and they breed it instantly.
Also the money part is one of the worst things in that game. You earn so less with battles but you have to pay an awful lot on things. This needs to be fixed soon. Giving us more money and making everything cheaper.
