Thanks for sharing. I have a Speedy 25. I was a bit concerned about the hardware tarnishing. I feel calm now, knowing that I was not scammed😂. I also got a red organizer for mine. It is sturdier and more elegant with the organizer.

Just ordered mine. I have it in Monogram and love it, but then don’t use it in the rain. So this is perfect to alternate between the two as determined by the weather. You’re right that it’s a classic so it’s always trending. So sorry you lost your middle strap on the plane. 😢

So glad I stumbled on your video! I'm super torn on getting the new speedy b 25 DE or to get one pre-loved because of the matte finish leather on the new DE. If I look at your video, clearly you have the original shiny leather finish on the handles & strap. I read on lots of forums that the newer matte finish can get water marks from rain, and an LV SA told me to be mindful when using hand lotion before touching the handles/strap. This is definitely not the case with the older shiny DE leather.
How does the handles & strap holding up on your speedy b nowadays?
Still no water marks (rain) on the leather? I live in a rainy country (The Netherlands) so I wanted to have a carefree bag that I don't have to baby it when I use it. Hence my dilemma in getting the speedy b DE new or pre-loved. Curious to know how the original shiny finish leather performs! :) Thanks so much!!
Edit: Oh, can you also pls share how you got the luggage tag? and how much it was :)

Hi! Thanks so much for liking the video! To answer your questions:
- The handle and straps are still in PERFECT condition on my Speedy- since it is DE treated leather, there are no water or oil marks (although I am very careful especially when I apply lotion to my hands).
- This is the only bag I take out into the rain and snow actually and it holds up perfect- I just wipe it clean afterwards.
- I went to an LV in NYC and asked for a luggage tag. They actually don't sell it separate anymore- it only comes with the Keepall. But I asked for one anyways and they took me to private room and showed me all the colors/designs they had. I chose the one that matched my speedy and got it stamp then and there! It was about $75ish when I got it.
