The fun of the Dig! I started collecting in 1994. That's when Toys R Us and Kay Bee toy stores were in full swing in the malls. Fast forward to 2021 and 8 kids later. Needless to say most every one of my 100 plus piece collection is gone. Played with and broken in to pieces. Ordering online is no fun. I've just begun collecting again. Great content.

I just wish I knew which ones are going to hold value and be sought after in the future. My point is, years ago Costco had the sonic blue 2003 Ford Mustang cobras as and exclusive only to Costco. Trying finding one now. Now any color convertible or coupe 03 cobra is going to cost a lot. I have 2 black ones and a red one. On eBay the cheapest one I’ve seen was over $300.
That's what I've been seeing as well. It's almost like we have to buy each model and hope they appreciate haha
I’ve never seen a Costco stack a bunch of the same ones at thr same spots. Usually they have 2 or three of the same cars mixed
This was a brand new shipment and no one had bought any yet, so I'd imagine that's how they get packaged from the factory. It was interesting to see, I'd never seen that before either.
I wish I found the divo, the fxx, Sian, and sp1. I hope 2021 is better for the cars

I just scored five Maisto diecast cars at Sam’s Club today too bad I couldn’t find A 2020 Chevy Corvette C8 in black’ but I found an all white one with black interior still a cool lick of cars that I found

I have 2020 Ford shelbe GT 500 my favorite blue a Christmas gift from my father.
That is exciting! Happy collecting!
All the mastio cars I had would always break because I would have them all on my shelf. I would never though them and keep them in prestige condition. Whenever I would take them down the axels would be stuck I would try to fix them with tools and they would just snap. Poorly made. Anyone know what the problem was?

Maisto is considered a budget brand so other diecast competitors have higher quality (detailing, fit/finish, easy turning wheels). I started collecting diecast almost 20 years ago and went crazy for the 1/18 scale. But for the last several years I rarely order that scale and instead buy the smaller 1/24 scale. Welly makes a nicer 1/24 scale than does Maisto... but for $10.99 at Walgreens I will buy a Maisto to add to my collection.
I Got the GT 500 but I really want to see some of the newer Vipers.

Just got the Lamborghini sian and the Bugatti divo but did not find the chiron sport.
Wow I havent seen the Sian at Costco yet. I only saw the Sian a month ago at Sam's Club.
I was able to pick up an extra black Chiron Sport however :) I plan to post it on Mercari.
I got the corvette ZR1 and the lambo aventador
I got them all, every time they put them out I take everything out and stack it to the side i then then remove the white display to get to the one's in the back. The works always look at me from a far to see if i put them back which I alwats do
Haha yep I'm that person too that asks the workers to move the pallets out so I can look through the boxes in the backside 😂

This is where I don't understand. You went to two Costco's and did not find the Ferrari Monza SP1. I went to two SAM'S club two months ago and did not find any of the Shelby GT500. No blue, no lime green, no orange. Isn't that upsetting? i went to our COSTCO here today September 8, 2020.........to my disappointment they ain't got none.
I've gone to 5 different costco's in different cities and have yet to find the Monza SP1 lol I'm on the hunt! And it's driving me crazy hahaha
@@MHMotors1 I found an SP1 at my local Costco last month. Only one in the whole pallet. My 4yo is getting it for Xmas :)
Same rarity with the orange 240z (gave it to my aunt).
New pallet came out and the only real treat was the black R8 (new for this year), of which there were several.

There's always a chance. Some models more than others I think too. Just from what I've seen in the resale market over these years, certain models and certain colors can vary in price.

@@Rx330lexuslover it'll depend on the rarety of the model in the coming years, I've seen ones show up each and every year, but others just once or twice. My view on value mimics the supply and demand curve.

Do you have any idea if they will have the Diablo SV in this year 2021?
That's a good question. In this first round, they seemed to be the same each shipping crate/box. But each round of shipments could be different and include some of the older models. I saw that happen before in these Costco supplies. Just keep an eye out around the months they usually get these

Yes these are 1:18 scale. And that scale is bigger than 1:24 scale models.

MH Motors which is a better brand for detail Maisto or Burago ? Also you should do a review of the Lamborghini Sian
@@lamboguy188 Both Maisto and Bburago are under the same "parent" company. The base Maisto and base Bburago models should be identical. Fun fact, some of models that come in a Maisto box are actually branded "Bburago" on the underneath of the car. When you get into the more detailed versions of these brands, Maisto has its "exclusive edition" and Bburago has it "Signature Series", however Bburago Signature Series is only for Ferrari models. Both of those higher editions will have more detail put into the models, such as tire lettering, better paint/decals, and interior details, etc.

I got the Bugatti Devo the Corvette C8 laugh Ferrari and I acquire the Gray Lamborghini Centenario that I missed out on last year

I found these in Costco Richmond Canada this week as well. Different selections of cars, but the total number of different cars are about the same. Compared to Sam's Club though, which has ~40 different cars, Costco only has 12-14.

@@MHMotors1 Very nice paint, rich and smooth. Panel gaps are a little bit large but that's normal for Maisto. Gulf color Ford GT actually sells the best, probably due to low quantity? All other cars are pretty abundant.
@@binzhao7445 I'll keep an eye out for the SP1. Looks like my area didn't get the batch with that one included.
And I agree, the gulf livery Ford GT I think looks the best.

I just saw the orange color this year. Previous years I had seen a blue one too, but not orange previous years.

Very nice video however somewhat disappointing selection although that may be the extent of what Maisto produces.
Yea this year was honestly kind of tame. Only a select hot new models.
I went today they didn’t have a lot of good cars the only good one was a Nissan GT-R

Can I get the Bugatti
From what I've seen in my area, Costco stores (and Sam's Club) are mostly/if not all out of stock by now. However, most of these are available on Amazon, which I've posted Amazon links to each car in the description below! (They are priced higher than Costco, but they are still on par with online prices, if not beating other prices). To find these at Costco is a once a year opportunity around labor day.

@@alexberman8900 that's seemed common even here. Some stores (30 min apart) will have a couple different models. It's like a treasure hunt lol! I've had to go to a few different locations to find most. Still haven't found the Ferrari SP1 tho
