The YM line is simply fantastic. I personally love the 116622 (steel w/ blue face). It’s absolutely mesmerizing.
Although, as most Rolex watches, I consider this overpriced I have to say that I like this model very much, quite unappreciated ! Great video
amazing review as usual! As you state this is the 116655, the new 126655 has a glidelock clasp (longer/more gold) and the new movement - would love to see a video on that as well one day!

1.- I have a good quesetion for you Hafiz J, which is the cost of this Watch yacht-master rose gold ? and for the price of $29,450 us dlls is it acceptable this kind of issues in the dial? and we are not talking on the inside of the watch (movement) cus i think it will be with bad finish
2.- On the review of the snowflake with the macro shots 9:41 you found a litthe details on the second hand of the watch and you said "the minute hand shows some very minor surface imperfection and you can see some metal voids on the polished surfaces which is a little disappointing"
You are disapooinging for a small surface imperfection on the macro shots for Grand Seiko watch of 5800 dlls, and a rolex of 30k dlls the quality overall is truly not bad at all or they come with a decent level of surface finish here?
Conclusion: your reviews are done subjectively and not equal for all brands.
Mhhh - good and fair points ... have you seen the GMT hands on Rolex GMT Master? It’s worst paint in the market ...

You are my number 1 guy. The only channel that shows the watch in zoomed out way in context with clothes/style. This is super important, and you are the only one who does this.
The white gold version of this watch is perfect.
its 42mm. i think this one is better.
In sailing, dead reckoning is even more likely to be used in the night where you can't so easily see where you are. There's no point in obsessively checking the chart until you know you're likely at least approaching the next waypoint. With such clear dial and hand lume, not having any on the bezel, not even just the triangle, is a tiny bit disappointing.
I guess it's too close to the gold there, and the sleek black takes design priority.

I like the persistence :) Watch collection so far for me has been more of a dynamic process i.e. watches come and later go to fund another pieces. So far the ones that have stayed in collection for quite a long time now, and I still have no plans to part with them are, in the same order as below:
1. AP 15202ST (love this)
2. AP 26400SO.OO.A055CA.01 (love this)
3. AP 15400ST.OO.1220ST.03 (love this but it may have to go if I fall for something else).

Well considering it retails for $22k, the current value is pushing $30k now I’d say it keeps its value pretty well.

They steel Yahctys are not cheap by any means, but by Rolex standards they are greatly underappreciated

Great question. They’re both different leagues I’d say.
VC is more for pleasure and a more beautiful watch of the two, with absolute haute horology on display.
YM is luxury watch but has more aspects of time accuracy (cosc), Reliabilty, luxury looknof gold and a more versatile ceramic bezel with rubber strap.
If I were to pick one, it’d be Overseas. It’s just a better watch overall at a lesser cost. The attention to detail and haute horology attributes it offers really do mesmerise your eyes and heart.

This is my favourite Rolex and has been since it’s release, however since experiencing AP, there is no comparison.

This is one of the best Rolexes on the market. Period.
It's incorrect to say that the GMT wasn't made for professional pilots: it was commissioned by Pan Am, specifically for their airline pilots flying transatlantic routes.
Agreed and that’s what I said i.e. GMT is a professional watch for (professional) Pilot. I think you misunderstood me; I stated that this Yachtmaster wasn’t meant for professional pilots, rather for people who sail/surf.
Pan Am pilots flying transatlantic routes, ... so, it was made for professional pilots.
Black and Rose gold is a superb color combination. Love the black dial minute marking, gives it a classy subtlility.
