Have been to the 'flora fountain' place in or near Fort. Actually, most of the books are not cheap there if compared to used books available elsewhere including those online. Bombay used to have many more used-books bookshops earlier. There is one in Vashi in New Bombay which sells used books by weight and new ones at a discount.

i think u forgot or dont know about a place which is kitab khana near the fountain and statue where u found long book store sequence. it is a huge book store where u can find every genres book i like that store most of the people use it like a library like me. but it is a book store.

N truly speaking, ppl will miss the feeling while reading from a book instead from their phone or tablet or kindle..!!! Yes it's very cheap books pavement I had visited flora fountain yesterday, and believe me, I wasn't able to move out from the books stacks. And yes ikigai is the most famous book and sold a lot even I bought it yesterday actually I bought pile of books 📚😌 Just my happy Face 😃😃
If I was living there I would go every month to buy books. I can't believe people living there can't see the heaven of book in front of their eyes. Just by seeing this video I just want to go there...
It's sad to hear that people are reading less and less these days and even those who do are stuck in the toxic debris of self-help books. I didn't spot a single classic novel even though I know that this was a quick browse. I was planning to raid these stores on my next trip to Mumbai but now after watching this I am not so sure. I hope they have a better collection than what I see here.
