700th video! Makirikiri Road Level Crossing, Marton

Today we are at Makirikiri Road Level Crossing near Marton which is one of a few Level Crossings in the Lower North Island with Safetran Type 3 E-Bells.

That second train at 3:50 was unusual, hauling a shunting engine behind the two main engines.

It’s actually quite common for them to do that as they do move the shunters around

It's interesting how that crossing has been upgraded with safetran type 3 E-bells and not Western Cullen Hayes E-bells but it doesn't bother me I kind of like the safetran E-bells because im kind of bored to see the original Western Cullen Hayes E-bells.
