    If you crash this thing doing 35-50 mph, I can guarantee you the last thing you're concerned about is damaging the charge port. The main thing about it, is water.

    This scooter is a big downgrade from the Zero 11x in many ways. It has a significantly slower top speed. It has 81% of the battery capacity of the Zero 11x. The front suspension can no longer be upgraded. The rear suspension costs twice as much to upgrade and adds unnecessary weight (the single rear shock on the 11x works great). The charging ports are problematic (they are great on the 11x because they are recessed so they won't get damaged in a wreck). It is an upgrade over the 11x in a few ways: better lights, better deck grip (undecided on this), slightly more compact (new front suspension design results in shorter length), and its cheaper. It makes sense that its cheaper than its predecessor, which still offers more power and battery capacity per dollar than just about any respectable scooter you can get.
    I own a Zero 10x (Apollo Pro) and I can say that the VSETT 10+ (the successor of the 10x) is a big upgrade in many ways and I would take the VSETT 10+ over the Zero 10x all day long. I also own a Zero 11x, and I can't say the same about the Zero 11x and the VSETT 11+.... I would still prefer the Zero 11x over its successor.

      completely agree with you , I'm currently in a friendly debate with somebody over this, you forgot to mention that the front folk design (like the Wolf...) restricts the turning radius, about the charging ports location, I do step exactly where they've been relocated to, and the color choice is overwhelmingly hideous, keep wondering the reason why this redesign came to be...

    I think the charge ports on the top are a (minor) downgrade from the 11x. The 11x has side charge ports that are recessed and it would be very difficult to scrape them when crashing (unlike the 10x and other scooters).

    • @Andrew-vt4jt
      @Andrew-vt4jt 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      You are correct about the recessed charge ports on the 11X. All of the other ZERO scooters have charge ports that stick out so I think they were just trying to stick with the theme of keeping them on top.

  • @FrugalPCOG

    The front fork design is always superior to the "C" fork at high speed if your dual fork extends up and through the stem becoming the handlebars. I changed out my dinky 24" wide handlbars and replaced them with 31" straight bar and the added control is immediately noticeable. Those bars are meant for people like 5'6" max. @ 6'3" my arms were coming back inside my shoulder width when steering. Always outside your shoulder width for better control.

      @dynmc ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Well, I think that when you see a video of a zero 11x front c-type suspension break without hitting any pothole or curbs you’ll be convinced enough to choose the 11+
      I mean you should really look for the video I mentioned, because I was in the same situation and was wondering what scooter should I buy. As soon as I watched the 11x front suspension break and there was no accident occurred to cause it - it was the moment when I made my choice and ordered my 11+

    I don't see how double rear shocks is more robust or secure. I broke the bolt that holds my shock in place on the 11x and now that bolt is twice as long. I've upgraded the suspension (front and rear) on my 11x and with the 11+ upgrading the rear costs twice as much and the front can no longer be upgraded.

    • @AdrianButler86

    @GingerOnWheels 3 ปีที่แล้ว +7

    Awesome review! The stability of the 10+ also seems a bit more unsure than the 11+ because its got so much more travel in the springs. The 10+ is so springy that it doesn't always have the most weight on the tires. Not good at high speed or cornering. Its why sports cars have tight tuned suspension.

      Both awesome machines. How tall are you and how big is your shoe size? I say that if you're under 6 feet tall the King is awesome but it you're tall and big footed the VSETT 11+ has a large deck and higher/wider handlebars. To me the VSETT 11+ in sport mode is faster off the line but the King has a higher top speed. Both are not the most nimble of scooters.

    I ordered a 9+ 19.2ah. If they had an 8+r with pneumatic tires and disc brakes I would have gone with that for the lighter weight. From the 9+, if i ever upgrade it will be to something like the 11+. This scooter would be the best if it was 72V like its competitors with similiar pricing (zero 11x and wolf king). It being 60V was honestly a dissapointment to me. Also I have seen Matt Boggs very often on the facebook groups but he looks so much younger in this video😂 Atleast 10 years younger than his profile picture.

    Naw, the 10+ looks way better than the 11+ and adding a damper to the 10+ will solve the stability issue at higher speeds.
    The horn is way better on the 11 though! The horn on the 10+ is ok if you’re backing up! 😂

    what are the dimensions of both vsett 11+ and zero 11x
    to me it looks like the vsett 11+ is just a bit lower to the ground, and also a slightly lower handlebar.

    Only things beter on the vset 11+ is the headlight horn and card reader everything else is okay but i like the suspention more on the zero 11x and on the vset 11+ if the front shock breaks or something u cannot upgrade it u need to replace it with the same suspention on the zero 11x u can replace the front and back shock with airsocks and make it even higher of the ground
    And the thing about the charging ports on the zero 11x their recesed a bit into the scooter so their probably not gona get damaged in ur car or when u crash but i woud not whant to crash that thing if u do everything will be damaged like a scooter when u crash and the thing about water u shoud upgrade ur mudguards so the water doesent touch the suspention parts or the botom of the scooter thats my only thing about it because if u ride in water everything is gona get water on it with thoes mud guards u need mud guard extentions on these scooters get like a rubber piesce of paper a thicker type and add it to the mudguards and ur set if it hits the ground nothing is gona get bent because its rubber and ur scooter is mosty realy dry especialy the deck of the scooter probably even underneeth

Not sure if the suspension is doing a good work at front. Is there any way to adjust it? Also i find it too slow to get it going compared to v10 that felt like a missile. Even inclines. There are some inclines where the v10 used to go up even spinning wheels and this one if i don't press the sport mode it won't go up.

      About 10minutes but if you stop and unplug the dashboard then plug it in - no waiting is needed. I found out that in cold weather this period is shorter so it’s based on both time and internal temperature of the controller(it has one for both motors) and if the controller gets very hot you’ll probably have to wait it to cool down even if you disconnect and connect the dashboard again.
