For the Dior Autumn-Winter 2019-2020 Haute Couture collection, Maria Grazia Chiuri wanted to go back to Couture essentials, notably in terms of fabrics. In this video, Aurélia Leblanc explains the process behind one of the special weaves developed for the show, made on a traditional loom and threaded with feathers and gold threads.
