Took my son to watch him play when the angels came to Cincinnati this past summer. Even 100 or so yards away, I was taken back by how big and strong he looked. He’s built almost like a wrestler (not wrasslin), kind of bow legged.
You can see these things from far away. I remember going to Giants games and we had good seats overlooking left field but they were pretty high up. I just liked to watch Barry Bonds run out to left field. He just of kind of glided. It made me realize that great athletes are born.

I am the only one who ever made a triple play from centerfield at the Babe Ruth field in Millville. I would have preferred to have had responsible parents. Kenny Walker and I both threw 21 strikeouts but I was the first batter of the game and drew a walk, then stole second, third, and home for the win. Sorry folks no video evidence but Todd Kurtstein was the catcher; And Doug Bailey was playing third. I never had opportunity to face Jeff but I always knew he would foul everything off.
