I don't know why he keeps comparing this to GM trucks because this is completely different. It has more horsepower, hip room, head room, and legroom than a Tahoe. If you care about comfort and are a taller person the Armada and Sequoia are the way to go. My Tahoe feels small compared to the Armada. The only reason the 3rd row is bigger in the long wheelbase is because they sacrificed 2nd row legroom to gain room in the 3rd row. They could do the same thing with the Armada but it would suck.
Hey Man, this is much better than the previous Armada despite the interior details being out dated in some ways. I am kind of surprised that the head unit and gauge package were not upgraded. Essentially, this is the SUV flagship for the Nissan brand in the US.
Fuel economy testing standards once again have gone up. This same engine in the Infiniti QX80 is rated 14/20 so the domestic figures when tested on the new more strict test standard will probably drop a little.

What is most annoying about this 2017 is the the navigation is useless major roads, there is no voice guidance on minor roads and the side mirrors are small.
They actually aren't as small. I'm sure that the Qx80 has the same size mirrors as the Armada and I honestly actually find them fairly large for me on my Qx80...

It's not really exactly the same... The Qx80 has 400 hp while the Armada has 390 hp...
It is the same with SLIGHT tuning differences.

thy have done really well with this new one, a lot of QX80 in this, though its not quite there with the Tahoe in terms of interior and Luxury.
I still love Tahoe better.

unfortunately your right because this 2017 Armada has been out since 2011 as QX80 and Patrol. Nissan should have replaced the Armada at 2011.

You said the GM twins. Is the escalade built on a different platform or just how they did the styling more different or just that it's a luxury suv.
Yukon, Escalade, and Tahoe all based on the Silverado platform.
Yes, because the Escalade is a luxury SUV, therefore the Armada doesn't compete with it.
