It’s pretty classic - my brother had the Ethan Allen version from the 60s in his room and when my daughter was born in the 80s, we had a maple crib so bought a chest of drawers like this (but not Ethan Allen quality) to go in the nursery. This looks like a nicer quality piece so I would think it’s older, perhaps from the 60s or 70s.
we love your videos. very educational. hopefully soon we can upload some videos on furniture painting. it looks easy when we're watching you, but i know it takes a lot of work. keep up the great work
Welcome back Kacha! I love how you show that even professionals run into trouble with furniture makeovers. It's so awesome you filmed it and taught us how to overcome the problems. This dresser is SO beautiful. ❤️
You never cease to amaze me with your art. Someday you will demand a hefty price for your talent. I wish you the best success with your business and I sincerely appreciate your ability to provide a thorough understanding of the techniques. You alone have such a talent for the art.
I had that exact same dresser! Painted it white then robins egg blue. Then distressed the edges to expose the white and wood here and there! Used the same hardware polished up and it was gorgeous!
This is my literal dresser growing up. I still have it in my guest bedroom. Although I wish I had the one you just did instead! Fabulous job!! Love me some BLING!

I thoroughly enjoyed the video from first to the last minute. But what I enjoyed the most is your beautiful, happy, full of sunshine personality. Love your amazing works of art.
I adore this color. Not the really dark one. But no sanding? Wow. Looks great. I have 2 ends tables i want gray. And good for you for celebrating your beauty. Its simply stunning
This piece is gorgeous !!! I love the gray color and especially the gray bead gel. The large pulls really add to this piece. The silver gemstone mousse looks great. Thanks for another great video !!

Beautiful job. Nothing like old furniture. The quality and the character of the piece comes thru w a simple change of color or new knobs or hinges. Very pleasant voice and details. Blesings.
Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous. I love this. The drawers look like they have an expensive fabric on them. Great to see something in silver too. Very elegant Kacha. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and artistry with us.
@@KachaFurniture I just got this beautiful dresser (free) after overpaying for another one. I ended up sending to goodwill because the smoke smell was so bad it was making me sick. This dresser has brass pulls that will eventually shine up so nice I’m think I’m going to do do a silver/gold combo if I can pull it off. Would love your expert opinion on what colors I should use (room is grey with grey carpet). Would appreciate your help in choosing the right color. I will send you a pick when I’m done. 🤗
Thank you, Kacha! Love, love, love this piece. I'm such a "Silver Girl". This takes me back to my favorite piece of yours that inspired several of my projects! Glass bead gel for raised stencil is the best touch ever and I'm thrilled to see Prima has another gorgeous, big stencil! I've been sanding my tops lately because the combo of paint and stained wood has me fascinated these days. Keep up the great work that inspires us all.
You are so magicly talented and truly gifted with your craft and I admire you so much for this. Before our last 3 moves, I had collected 7 different, unique and extremely well made dining room chairs. As I located them in an affluent neighborhood they were all good candidates for painting. I had plans to try my hand at your art, but we relocated for my husband’s job and they unfortunately were left behind. This was almost 20 years ago, you’d think I would have forgotten about my collection by now, but no I haven’t. After I get one side of my garage cleaned out I will be on the lookout for some discarded furniture. I’ll be watching you closely very soon!!
Early on in the video you said this is a dresser from the '80s. I laughed when I heard that because I have the entire bedroom suite to match your dresser. My Mom bought me mine in 1959! I have been watching you for quite some time for an idea to redo that bedroom set, which included a double bed with canopy. You delivered the inspiration!! Now if I can match up good weather to paint outdoors and enough energy to get it all done I will be so happy.
This is one of my favorites. That’s hard to say because all your work is exquisite. The stencil work is fun, I love how you recovered the beauty of the wood grain on the top and... those adorable knobs!!! 👍🏻😉👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
This was a lot of fun to watch. I have a solid maple dresser that is very similar to this piece. It is over 60 years old. I got it for my 4th birthday and have had it ever since. Thanks for the ideas.
I kept wondering how all the silver/gray shades would work together. The colors, the painting, the stencil work and those beautiful T.J.MAXX knobs all come together to make an ugly piece into a STUNNING show piece! I’m hitting that SUBSCRIBE button. I have lots of pieces that are waiting for this but I’ve been to scared to begin. You really made me feel like I could do this! Thanks!
