Great build. But, here's the question that truly matters. What's the cost for a build like this?
I can appreciate the more elaborate and over-the-top builds. I would rather have a build like this and add personal touches myself. This is solid and thoughtful. I don't care for all the wood in many builds, especially if it's yellow wood. I like modern industrial anyway. I bet different choices could make it even more industrial.

It reminds me too much of a cubicle. I would need a wood floor or ceiling and different cabinets and walls that look like cabinets instead of filing cabinets and cubicle walls.
The layout and functionality is fantastic, I just don't see the appeal with the color scheme and materials. It wouldn’t take much to make it feel more homey.

Another great van build. Have you ever tested miles per gallon before and after installing the roof rack and ladder ? Also do those metal cabinets have a tinny rattle while driving ? Thanks.
That's a great question. I've wondered if other builders have mentioned this. I don't want to overload my van when I get it. For me, van life is about minimalism. I don't want a bunch of wood, and I do want to maximize fuel efficiency. That said, I would still beef up the suspension a little from the start. Is that overkill?

Question for you: With the 48V AirCon and EcoFlow Power Kit combo, are you still able to see the power consumption and battery time left on the display panel when the AC is running?
I assume it's tied in directly to one of the battery ports and not run through the smart fuse panel, and have been wondering how that would look on the display..
There is a beta firmware update from EcoFlow that shows the battery port on the DC output screen. It's still in testing, but it will show there.

How does that work? I thought the Ecoflow can output either 12 or 24 volts but not 48. And aren't the battery ports for power input, not power output?
The battery chemistry of the EcoFlow is 51v. They use a step down transformer to give you either 12v or 24v through the smart distribution panel. A firmware update has allowed power out of the 3rd battery port for a custom cable connection to the AC unit. It’s pretty cool.
The Nomadic x3 48v is quite expensive. Is it feasible to get a 48v to 12/24v converter to have more a/c choices?

BIGGEST DEAL BREAKER FOR THE TRANSIT IS THE WET BELT, FOR THAT REASON I WOULDN'T BUY ONE
