With the issue of the grid still showing, I'd recommend either using paint /paint marker, or maybe just pencil do draw the grid as sharpies tend to bleed through acrylic paint even with many layers.

One question: you mentioned you didn’t have enough paint for another coat. I was wondering if you re mix the colour with each coat, or if you mix a lot of paint in the beginning to make the colour and then somehow store the paint in a way to prevent it from drying on your palette

It’s better to use coated paper to print images that you need

What materials did you use to make it? I would love to do it but I don't have the materials.
Cardboard, clear tape, acrylic paint, clear spraypaint, and black mesh fabric for the eyes
